Ryan I know exactly what youre going through. My mom fought breast cancer 4 1/2 yrs ago, and now she has been diagnosed with having a tumor on her brain. We'll find out more tomorrow about what they plan to do to help my mom. Tell your mom to keep fighting, will be praying for you all.

We're praying for the whole family here. When my Dad was sick, prayers were very comforting to me and the family. He lost his battle, but that was OK. He's in a much better place now and I know I'll be seeing him again.

Once again thanks to everyone. We had our christmas over there tonight and everyone held up pretty good but when it was over It hit me pretty good when I got home and started going through the stuff that she had got me and my family. I decided to take everything that she had bought me and put It in a box in top of the closet. If we are lucky enough to have her around next christmas then I will take it out and wear and use those things that she got me. If not I can always look back on it and say "This was my christmas present from my mom back in 2008" .. sorry to use this thread as a filter but it is very hard for me to sit and talk about it to anyone in person. Hope everyone had a good christmas and GOD BLESS!!!

I will be praying for the both of you, I buried my son the 19th and without prayers and support of family and friends the journey would be to hard . Try to think of all the blessings they gave you, and it helps to push the heartache aside for a few minutes.

I have a dear friend who is also in the fight. The Docs gave him a date that he has lived past. I call him on the phone and we celebrate his life each time, he is such a kind caring man. The lives we touch, the joys we share should all be celebrated and cherished. Nothing would please your mother more than to see you come visit wearing the gifts she has given you. We do not fold up and put away loved ones when their gone, we should wear and display the goodness they have given us by touching our lives, we are the legacy they have left to be remembered by. Whats time wasted in mourning for the living? Make the most of what you have and give her the joy of knowing "my life has been good and the work I've done is the blessing that sits with me and holds my hand"... Love your mother and show her the good she's done, the ache in your heart is what we who are left must deal with, it should not be a burden for her.
I pray that God will touch you mother and that your lifted spirit will reflect back to her the fruits of her labor...This is strong medicine.
