Mary Ann - Buckeye Dog

Post by Buckeye Dog »

A lot of you know me and I have transported many dogs since 2002.

I was recently diagnosed with "non-small cell lung cancer stage 3"

Getting chemo every 3 weeks, My doctor says I am responding well.

I feel fine, don't look sick. Obviously I am not on the road delivering dogs at this time. I do have Rick, Robert, Joe and Tim my workers that are driving. I am just stuck here being a dispatcher I guess.

I would appreciate all prayers I can get.

Thank you.

My good Friend Mary Ann:

Just read the bad news, Marry Ann! I know the Man Up Stairs !! You will be in my Prayers, and Keep the Faith. He has pulled this Ol Ga.Red Neck out of many situations, over the years.

Thanks for all the many Trips down Daddy Rabbit Road, to pick up hounds for delivery around the USA! I always say, you do the best Job of them all !

Keep Looking Up!

I have been getting 3 different chemo drugs every 3 weeks. So far reactions have been head sweats, looks like I just left the swimming pool lol and tired in afternoon I have had to learn not to push myself to exhaustion, they say rest a little bit so I have. I know I have not checked voice mails as often as I should. Hopefully things will improve. Had another CT scan last Friday. When I saw the oncologist Tuesday his words were " I never thought I would be able to say this to you but the CT scan shows the cancerous tumors in your lungs are gone". In june he told me my survival rate was 10-20% and I was on the lower level, not looking good. He said I am not out of the woods at all, no humidity, no long walks, not to be out in rain, snow where I can get sick and no driving hundreds of miles a day like I have for over 16 years. I am still on chemo by way of a port in my chest but they are looking for an affordable pill I can take. Also take eliquis blood thinner twice a day for blood clots. So I am at least for now not driving, I am dispatching my drivers and doing what the doctor says. I thank everyone that has had me in your thoughts and prayers. I am fortunate with my dog transporting that I know hundreds of people that have kept me in prayer and I know that along with good doctors have helped me get this far. Still keep me in your prayers. Thank you. Mary Ann
