I AM WANTING A BLACK AND TAN A-1 RABBIT DOG. I AM NOT LOOKING TO TRIAL A DOG CURRENTLY BUT MAYBE IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I WANT SOMETHING THAT IS UNDER 14" AND HAS A GOOD BLOOD LINE "HAYMAKER, OTIS, IN LINE BLACK JACK". I NEED A DOG THAT CAN RUN AND CIRCLE ITS OWN RABBBIT AND BE A 6-7 IN SPEED. I LIVE IN CENTRAL MISSOURI AND WOULD LIKE TO FIND SOMETHING FAIRLY CLOSE.

Don Bramlett in west KY had some of the exact dogs you are searching for when I was trialing back in the 90's. Very nice running and easy on the eyes too. Don't know how far you are willing to travel but I have always recommended his hounds to anyone searching for black and tans. Very nice man that knows his dogs well.
