Looking at these, what's a good one?
Need to work it on farm as well as some fun/hunting.
Ant tips on picking a good used one?
How would you set one up?
Any experience guidance appreciated for a newbie... ;D

Re: Side X Side 4 wheeling
Polaris Ranger gets my vote. I've rode and driven several different ones. Ranger was the most comfortable and had the best ride. I owned a mule and my back always hurt from the rough ride and it didn't have any get up.
If I agreed with you then we'd both be wrong.
Re: Side X Side 4 wheeling
Everyone I know who uses a UTV for farm/running dogs uses Polaris Rangers. I use a Bad Boy Buggy but that is only because I am able to use it as a "golf cart" at the campgrounds as well.
We have 2 Kubota RTV's here at work in the rail yard and they have been bullet proof. They are pricey but we run them around 16hrs per day in any weather and they have held up strong for the last 6 years. I will say they would not be my choice for rough terrain such as woods or rough fields though....their suspension is no where near the Ranger however their toughness probably makes up for that.
Try craigslist for picking up a good used one....

Thanks for the help and opinions. Made it back from Abernathy's, my wife thinks it's "cute" and my daughter called it "a beast of a thing".
Don't look like I'll get to drive it much with these two around tho...

I'd go for a Polaris Ranger. You can do a ton of stuff with it.
Re: Side X Side 4 wheeling
They put the windscreens in the front and rear and a top on it. Found out we need a review mirror, or a slow moving vehicle sign...
They said you can haul 6 men...they ain't seen my fat buddies...

What did you end up buying? I'm about ready for another load of dog food in the next few weeks!

Hey Ken,
Opted for the 800 ranger crew. It will fit on a 10' trailer if you let the air out of the tires and strap-up the loading ramp, 12' trailer would be ideal tho...
My old dogbox is 2" to deep to get the tailgate shut, I think the bed is 36" deep but plenty wide enough.
I got to get some more feed also by mid week. They slow'n down now that it gotten warm.
