Rabbit Hounds 16 inches or Over!

I am looking for a hound 16 inches or over that could really run a rabbit on snow or dry ground. Can solo hunt and will get in the thicket to get the rabbit out of there. male or female not gun shy. Let me know the price of the hound if you have one. Age nothing over 4 years old

ive got a couple nice hounds that arent over 16 but are over 15 not gun shy will show them very very nice dogs and bread out the ying yang!

I have an open colored young dog that does everything you described and more. You may take him and try him for a week. He is 16' or maybe a little more and has been run every day of his life. He is out of Awful Bawlin Let er Rip and Spruce Ridge Zena. He was a year old on July 14th. He will hunt, jump his own rabbit and run it. Not a perfect hound but definitely a fine young dog at a puppy price. $300 with trial. I am in Michigan. He is pretty well trash broke also. He has been run solo and packed. I would feel free to run him with anything because he shows real well. I am letting him go because of a surplus of dogs.

I have never shot over him because he was too young last hunting season but I don't think that will be a problem as long as he is not abused with the gun.

I think you will be surprised at what this young dog can do.
