Ok, my buddy was looking to buy a tracking system and i put a want ad on here.
Southern Pride Kennels(SPKennels) Jason Woody from North Carolina , 336-793-5746 ,responded and said he had a system for 435.00 shipped.
He called my buddy(John Perkins) and they dealt over the phone.
Enough time went by and no tracking system arrived, A call was made to Jason Woody and he said he would send another set, that the first one got lost.
Its been a month or more and still nothing and Jason Woody will not answer PM's or return John's phone calls.
I also PM him and told him i would post this public.
Anyone dealt with fraud like this before ?? Buddy has his money order reciept and i have all PM messages to show the deal went through.

Guess there's a bunch of them taking us for our money out there... pays to buy brand new I guess, at least you know you would be getting the merchandise !
I am dealing with the exact same thing with Phil Stevenson !
Bought a unit in April for $300, money order cashed, no unit... no tracking number supplied, nothing.. very little communication AND today he was either suppose to supply me with the information as to it's supposed location OR GIVE me my MONEY back ! IT appears NEITHER has happened......
The cry baby doesn't want to be given a bad name but when you don't keep your word.. that's the result. Check out the PLEASE delete Sticky at the top of the threads... delete cause he's guilty, that's just wrong what these people are doing. And using this site to rip us off. I can certainly understand why you are pissed off...... We Beaglers are putting too much faith in people I guess... but at the end of the day God will judge.
Guess we got to hire lawyers to get our merhandise ~ I beleive it is also known as Internet FRAUD. And it is a Federal Offence to my knowledge, good call Buddy Jude.

It's also teft by deception. Any thing over $300.00 is a federal offense.

Just found out jason gave robert kemmer of the famous kemmer curs in tn. a screwing on some of his cur stock. jason woody forgot to pay him for a number of dogs.
So this Woody is a dishonest person after all. Not a hunter at all,
True hunters are honest folks !!
my buddy is wanting to drive down to North Carolina and personally collect his 435.00.

Wanna drive down to Kentucky and collect my $300 while you are at it ?
It's not that we're niave... it's that THEY are crooks and we are used to dealing with HONEST people.
I'd like to thank those fellow beaglers in the USA that have been trying hard to help me out and sending me PM's ... does the heart good to know that I'm not in this alone, that there are people that stand up for others.

i traded with him
it turned out bad,i drove from central ky to n.c. after several phone conversations we agreed on a trade,i traded an older female nite
champion walker to 4 reg. started and treeing on their own thornburg fiest.
when we met he had forgot their papers(he said)he was supposed to mail
them to me.i never got them.
none of the dogs were started, none would tree
he would not answer phone calls or return my e-mails
1 was mean,planted him,gave other 3 away for pets
BUT it was partialy my fault for trading, when he did not have papers in hand, and for taking his word on the dogs instead of trying them.
thanks

I'm no lawyer but, anything over $300 might be a felony, but not necassarily a federal offense. I could be wrong though.

Yes, maybe some of the dishonest folks do use this site to rip others off, but it is also a great benefit to have this site so others can find out who the true thieves really are! Although the Beagling world is nation wide, it's still a relativly small circle, and word gets out fast! If it happened to me, I'd prostitute, er I mean prosicute them to the fullest extent of the law, and if I got nowhere doing that, I'd probably be forced to go and open up a good old fashioned can a a$$ whoopin on em! Might be forced to do both! Good luck to you guys, and I hope everything works out!

Where exactly does this guy live? Is it here in NC? Can you tell me what city? Just trying to protect myself and others that I know who are honest.
thanks

lol
It's truly unfortunate that there are some rotten apples in every bunch. For the most part, beaglers seem to be an honest bunch, but I've met a few over the years that will cheat to come out ahead and it's usually due to $$$.

It becomes a federal offence when it crossed state lines.

And what happens when it's out of country ?
I'm in Canada and got ripped off...... Does that mean he's SAFE to do what he did. Any legal beaglers out there with advice ??
PMed the guy, still avoiding me ! So much for getting my money back as he stated ... man, his word is no good.
Anyone live near Bowling Green KY ? And if you know Phil Stevenson ...
Coolbrze, you are right, for the most part Beaglers are honest and trustworthy. There is always going to be bad apples in whatever you do, but if one can avoid these people and create awareness, maybe the next person won't get ripped off. Save people some time and $$$.
