Jason,
My daughter is working on her letter. We still want to get a good pic. Hopefully this weekend she will be here long enough that we can the hounds out.

Due to the fact that I have had many people experiencing some “technical difficulty” with the DVD I want to inform potential customers about the following. When I had a company duplicate copies of the video I was told that 95% of the DVD’s would work in any DVD player. I was misinformed. Now that I know, DVD’s are very touchy to say the least. The first videos I sold, I had maybe two returns. The last batch I have sold, I have had many returns. After speaking to the manufacturer, I was informed that for whatever reason, some DVD players will not read the material properly. It will literally stop, or start skipping in various sections. He explained to me that this is due to “cheap” DVD players. I don’t know if I fully agree, but I am no computer genius either.
Anyway, here is what you can do to help the situation:
1. First of all, look to see if your DVD player will read DVD –R format.
2. Secondly, have your DVD player cleaned.
3. Thirdly, try the DVD in different players to see if it will work.
4. Fourthly, return it to me and I will send you another or refund your money.
I do not want to make anyone unhappy in the process and I will make it right. I have to be honest, I am very disappointed to say the least. I thought I produced a pretty good video that people would enjoy, and quite frankly the darn thing just isn’t working in some DVD players. For that I sincerely apologize to all that have had a problem. Here is a story on how crazy these DVD’s actually are. I have three DVD players at home. The first DVD player would not read one of my videos and stopped about 45 minutes into the movie. The second DVD player with the exact same video, stopped at the very end of the video. The third DVD player read the entire movie perfectly without a single glitch!!! THE SAME VIDEO THAT WOULD NOT WORK IN TWO DVD PLAYERS WORKED IN THE THIRD! Frustrating to say the least. So, I do not have the answers.
I am sure that I will lose some business due to this post, but I want to warn everyone before it happens that some of these DVD players are not reading the video. The success rate is much higher than the return, but I want to make everyone aware of the situation. Once again I am sorry, but there is nothing I can do about it other than to send you another video and hope it works for you or refund you money. For all of you who bought a video, I thank-you very much.

I just received three DVD's in the mail yesterday that would not work for the people who bought them. I tried them in all three of my DVD players. The DVD worked flawlessly in the third DVD player but would not work in the other two. The third DVD has not had one glitch in any of the DVD's. It is a panasonic Vhs/DVD player.
Also, I have tried this a time or two. Wipe the DVD with a lent free cloth. Sometimes the slightest little things will work. Once again, sorry for the inconvenience, but trust me there is no one more frustrated and disappointed than myself.

schag..... I will be sending a money order sometime next week....and on the dvd thing..... did they copy it off of a dvd you gave them? alot of times when a company copies dvds, then reloads them to dvds, it cause a reformt shift... which in turn means that when they are copiying them, a minor mainframe glitch in their computer can cause the disk to read, and overwrite itself causing the things you said people were mentioning...
I am not blaming the company, but almost all dvd players made after 2004 should play a dvd-r copy flawlessly...A good way for people to check if its their dvd player or the dvd is if it doesnt work in their dvd player to try it in their computer.....windows media player will play almost all formats.... check the time it glitches and fast forward to that part.. if it does it on the computer, then it is the company that copies thems fault...
I know this first hand lol since I do some at home copying for friends on my computer... home videos and such, but sometimes stuff happens lol... computers arent perfect:)
Also check the format..... whether it is .avu, mpeg, .iso, .bin, and the codec....
all dvd players made after 2004 will play avi converts.... other codecs can give dvds some troubles... especially wih the dvd+r format. also make sure that the guy copying the dvd's for you isnt reanalyzing the codecs on accident... I know that I had a .avi codec that worked great on my dvd player, and switched the codec on the next dvd I made for myself, and my dvd player wouldnt read it... took me 5 hours to find out why.....
just thought that might help ya out buddy...
God Bless
