I have a big male out of FC pound the ground chance and FCGD Wells woods valentine his name is Primetime sarge he measures around 14 1/2 inches. He has a huge roaring bawl mouth that you can pick out of any pack. good foot, good hunt, handles great. I have never had any of game problems with him. I run him with shock collar but I never have to use it. He will be 2 in june and He is AKC reg. The reason he is for sale is he is just not my style of dog I like them rough and flashy and he is not that. He is clean does not open till he is hot on the track and runs a tight clean line. I run little pack and he is just not that style dog. Feel free to come run any time with him. He is $450 and I dont want to sound rude but please dont waste my time tire kicking on him and offering me trades on other dogs. He is a very well breed hound with great looks and the ability to do well in AKC or gun hunt in the field. I will try to post picks but not sure if I can. Does he have speed on the line, but just ins't wide enough in the check for you or is he medium speed & slow working a ckeck? Also, how much hunt & how much mouth does he give when moving the track? I had an awesome female from that cross that was showing everything I could ask for in a hound; hunt, hunt , hunt !!!, but I messed up & sold her & can't get her back. Valentine died young so this was her only litter; she was probably the best all around dog I've ever had. Marvin Strange was able to do the ground work with her & she was able to prove how good she was. Placing in 12 out of 15 trials not counting 2 derby wins. She won the Mid-West Championship, beating the legendary FC Durham's Lily & FC White Oak Creek Jada's Bella that day on snow. I judged Chance & made my mind up that day that she would be bred to him. He is awesome! I hope some of these pups turn out good & keep Val's blood going. Sorry to ramble , but I get close to the few great hounds I've had.
