Male
Born: August 5, 2008
14 3/4 or so. Not over.
$600 No Trades

I raised this hound from a pup, sold him, and then bought him back. I have his sister here that I am going to breed when she comes in and need the room. I like his sister more than him. She will never leave my house. I also have a pup coming from his nephew that I like better than him. So, he is for sale. I need room and not the dog. He is a fair hound. Not a barn burner, or a world beater. He is not the "wow" dog that so many are trying to buy. He is always in the mix though. Middle of the pack type hound with a good mouth. Stays busy, hunts average. He does not take heat (weather) very well. He will fade with hot weather and gets lazy. (His sister handles heat with no problems.) I doubt he would ever make someone a complete trial hound because of this. He can be ran in cooler temperatures with no problems. I bought him back for $600 and that is what I am asking. I will show the dog in the field. Again, please do not call if you are looking for that dominant, world class type hound, he is not, he is a fair hound though with a pedigree that is top notch in my opinion. He is not in great shape right now and needs ran in.

Picked up in Wooster, Ohio. 1 1/2 hours northeast of Columbus. Any other arrangements is up to the buyer.

Thanks guys.

To answer a few questions that guys have pm'd me about:

Squall mouth, clean on the line, good enough foot (again not a flashy type of hound but will be in the mix). No skirting, no swinging or bounding off and close in the check (he knows where the point of loss is). He has good stick in the check as well. He has gears and will walk one out if need be. Can jump and run his own rabbit.

Average nose. Good enough from what I have seen, but no great.

Any other questions please call.

Thanks.
