this male is directly out of reggie and mr. stub's maple hill timber jill. he is bluetick and he is 14 inches tall. he has real hunt to him and he is a real check dog, he gets the hard ones. he can jump, run, circle, his own without no help. packs up good and has good kennel manners as well. good hound, tough and has no quit in him. has a real pedigree on him also, way to many field champions to list and ifc as well. hunt 9-10 speed 8-9 check work 9-10. he runs a line clean with no cuting or swinging. he minds real good and you dont have to use a collar on him, but he is collar broke. would consider trading to a nice female if she suits me. this hound is not a cull by no means. he hunts hard all day long and has no quit in him, he stays in the brush killed several over him this year. he is not shy in anyway, no early mouth what so ever will not make a bark until the rabbit is up. for more info call jason at 606 877 8938 1,200.00 he is a meat hound and would make a real trial dog as well. come watch him run nothin to hide on this male. he is a 3 yr old, dob: aug 1, 2009 he is AKC registered.

Have you ever trialed this hound? If so what part of the Country?

no, but if i don't sell him then i'm going to this year. super nice hound will not make a bark until the rabbit is up. great check work and great line control as well. he can hold his own with anything out there. only selling him cause i was wanting to buy the new garmin alpha system.

I went up today to try this dog out and he was just as Josh described him. Hunted hard all day never gave a bark out of place and I would have to say he got most of the checks. The last rabbit we jumped before we quit ran thru some water and after a while we figured the race was over and all at once we heard him open up. He got the only hard check we had today. After going up running with Josh today I wouldn't be afraid to buy a dog from him on his word. We have to get together again soon and run some more. Fred will have a new home tomorrow.

Be glad to bring him back. They always told me you don't know what you got until you run against the right competition. Loved hearing them pound those rabbits.
