Yes really ...I have known plenty of people who have bred to a dog just for the blood especially when it is strong blood...I mean really..you have never known anyone who has placed a dog into a pet home and the dog be just that a .....pet never started but still there as a stud?? I know of no line out there that is so scarce that I would ever consider breeding to a dog that would not run a rabbit! I know some of the show dog folks do this because they are looking for show quality not hunting quality. Is this dog a show dog? If so your post didnt state this.
I could care less how many times you bump your post. My point was that if the dog is a pet sell it as a pet not as a stud dog with what evidently is somewhat of a good pedigree in someones eyes that wont run a rabbit!
