Sorry! I fell like I decribed him very well.

Gave to much for him. Almost $3,000.00 in the dog. (Over rated) One day he will look like a million dollars the next day he will look like $$$$. Then he may look good for a day or so. You can carry him hunting and shoot he may come out and stand by your feet and never go run again until the next day. He may stay in the race and pound. It is never black and white. He may come out do after 1 shot or ten. You never know what you might get. All I can speek for is he is a nice looking male runs a good line with speed when he is on.

He is priced at what I feel is a reasonable price.

JMHO!!

But again if I liked him he would not be forsale. I am not a dog trader or do I sale many dogs at all.

it is refreshing to see an honest post this hound is described as he should be with full disclosure and the utmost honesty. I applaud you for your good moral judgement. Not all hounds make it to the top level and you approached this with a no nonsense no bs position. Who ever buys this hound will know just what their getting. hopefully others will follow suit but more than likely they will sell themselves out for a few pieces of silver.

He has a great mouth and does not use it of the way by any means. He is as close to 15 as you can get. I was asked about he mouth and size. SO there it is.

very sorry to hear you got stuck with a hound for that kind of money, really any kind of money but that much it really has to sting, your honesty is refreshing and should be commended. I got nailed on a couple last year and still cant force myself to cull the last one although I need to. I took for granted that all sportsmen were honest when I got into beagling at a pretty serious level, boy did I learn my lesson. there are some guys out there that are honest but those who are not will answer some day, I guarantee it. Karma is a bitch. I hope you find a place for your hound. all the best, FUDD

The other option is to have the dog cremated and sent to the original seller! Just a thought.....
