NLPC FC S.R. Donald Butch

Post by aaron westedt »

Butch is 8 years old coming 9 late this summer, he has been a pleasure to own and is always a gentleman in the kennel. Butch is physically fit and is ran a minimum of once a week, he is also groomed, wormed, and vaccinated as needed. Butch is a very intelligent, beautifully marked hound, and is producing outstanding champions. Due to the local I live in, it is my belief that Butch is not being bred more. When inquiring about Butch, please do not degrade his accomplishments by asking to see him run, he has thousands of miles through him and does not need to prove himself to anymore. Butch will not be sold to just anyone, as I will screen all possible buyers. The purchase price will be $1500.00 no less, and one breeding. Contact Aaron @ (608) 448-9434

How does one degrade a dog's accomplishments by wanting to see him/her run prior to purchase?

This dog has produced some Field Champions with very minimal breedings. He has obtained his 3 licensed wins and 120 pts to become a FC in the AKC,not to mention win the Large Pack Nationals. Not much more to prove Aaron.. Hard to make time for everyone. I've Seen Butch run before. Nice dog. well worth the money.

I sold a FC. bitch this last winter sight unseen. Guys said she is the best dog he ever owned.

Making it simple if you want to own the dog because of the TITLE then why do you need to see it run???? If you want to own the dog and want to see it run why buy this one when its already finished ask around for people that watched it finish and then make your choice!!! if Reggie or Junie or Trails was for sale would you ask to see them RUN??????? JMHO

this hound has nothing left to prove to any one. he has a resume that few other hounds can ever achieve, and he has also produced hounds that are cream of the crop quality as well. can he run like he did at 3-4 probably not. at best one could expect he be your stud dog puppy trainer, or hound to take out for a half day hunt. he has nothing elso left to prove, and is most worthy of a good loving home quality feed and anyother things a decent human can offer to facilitate his remaining life to make him happy. if i can make room love to have him here as a breeder and another buddy to talk too. buddies like this want ever stab you in the back or try and use you. they are all give and no take.

Guys, I am trying to work out a deal with Aaron and if it happens I will be bringing this hound to KY. I have talked with him over a year ago and I have been following this hounds reproducing ability for a long time now and he can make anyones kennel better. The only reservation that I have on this hound is his age but I dont plan on running him 5 days a week and putting it to him like I do my other hounds, he has already proved himself and it is now time to stud him out and get this great old genetics back into the breed that has lost so much on the "flavor of the month" hounds.

Dont let that stop you from buying him, if the dog is healthy as aaron says. You should be able to get a few yrs of breeding out of him. I believe what aaron says, re- read the post he thinks very highly of his dog, What exactly would a 9 yr old dog have to show anyone anyhow. He earned the title the great years are past. Good luck aaron. He is a fine little hound.

Jimbo, I like this hound but the age thing does bug me alittle but if I am able to get 3 more years out of him then I would be OK with that. I do agree with Aaron that on his geographic location being so far away that it is hurting his numbers in breeding but I dont care about the numbers that he produces but what he produces. He does have a proven record on his reproducing ability and I have a few good hounds that I would like to breed to him myself and I know that there are many kennels around us that would also use him.
