What's he worth

I am considering selling this dog but haven't made up my mind yet. Just curious what you'all think he'd be worth.
AKC registered
3/4 Boldstroke (Musket close up x2)
1/4 Birch Lake
Tan color w/ yellow eyes.
4 years old
Will run longer than any two dogs in your kennel (10-14 hours doesn't bother him)
Can do it all by himself.
Pretty tight on the line and through the check.
His only major fault is that when you first turn him loose it takes him 20 minutes or so to settle in and start working.
Thanks,
Dane

Well that's the thing. I think he's worth a small fortune, but that won't help me if I want to sell him. He is one of the cornerstones to my kennel so in my mind that just inflates my idea of worth. But none of that helps if you can't find a buyer!

He's worth what someone is willing to pay for him.

DEFINITION OF MARKET VALUE : The most probable price which a property should bring in a competitive and open market under all conditions requisite to a fair sale, the buyer and seller, each acting prudently, knowledgeably and assuming the price is not affected by undue stimulus. Implicit in this definition is the consummation of a sale as of a specified date and the passing of title from seller to buyer under conditions whereby: (1) buyer and seller are typically motivated; (2) both parties are well informed or well advised, and each acting in what he or she considers his or her own best interest; (3) a reasonable time is allowed for exposure in the open market; (4) payment is made in terms of cash in U. S. dollars or in terms of financial arrangements comparable thereto; and (5) the price represents the normal consideration for the property sold unaffected by special or creative financing or sales concessions* granted by anyone associated with the sale.

You know I looked for sometime for something out of Musket . I even tried to locate Gill Davis and find a line of Musket , but I had no luck. If you were closer I bet you and I could have made a deal. Even though I have 15 L.W. or red& white(orange/tan)beagles now I still would like to have one more good dog. Make up your mind and price your dog. Anyone knows blood lines will be interested..I have a picture of Gill and Musket by a stack of hay with a whole pile of rabbits in front of them. Ken

Dane I can't believe you would sell him. You know he could always come back and live with his Daddy and you could have visitation rights, lol. The two I kept out of that cross didn't work out as well for me. The male died before he was a year old and the female stayed small and couldn't keep up with her Daddy. A litter mate to yours is down around Circleville that really turn out nice. They really love the dog, said it was the best they have had. You can see him on my website under the albums. I have 1/2 sister to yours here that will die here. I screwed up and sold her sister because I had bought some high powered pups that I just new was going to be better, wrong they were culls. Yank has produced some nice dogs for the limited about of breeding he has. Let me know what you have planned. Bob

The Yank dog is a really nice hound. I would assume he would produce very well.
