I am putting Rudy on here again. I was going to just keep him and took him off, but I need to get these pups going and got another litter on the way. Here is what he is.
Rudy is a great track dog with a huge nose. He is NOT a jump dog. He doesn't hunt well 75% of the time. Some days he will jump quite a few rabbits, but normally he waits for another dog to do the jumping. He is a full 15" hound. If he hunted harder I would keep him. He can walk a track on gravel, but won't look in the brush for it. He has been deer broke and is collar broke, but usually not needed. I understand he hunted better before he was sent to be deer broke, but we have had him 2 years and he has not hunted hard, but also has not ran a deer . He is a 6 or so on speed, not gun shy, and ties out well. He will climb out of a kennel and will climb fences. He is AKC and NKC registered. He has a couple places in NKC including a second and a third. He is qualified for the world. If you have any questions call me or pm me. He is for sale or trade (prefer anything that doesn't eat). He throws small birth size pups that grow well and we have two 14 1/2 + females that we are happy with. I've been honest about my cull, but I think he will suit some one's pack fine.

Good Dog

Tons of calls and a few pm's but he is still here. He is a good hound, just lacks hunt. Probably not as bad as I said, but he lacks hunt. Come run with him, you will not be disapointed. He is a good producer. I will run some of his pups for you if you wish and can give a couple refernces upon request on his pups.

Thanks Mike and Bill. Cell phone cut out on us when you were getting the report Saturday night. Rudy did a good job Saturday and was just as you described. I think he'll even get a little better as he gets used to me and his new pack. Got two females in heat now so he and Bo are a little grouchy toward each other so far. Ya'll should come and get that Rabble female I was telling you about so I wouldn't have to kennel Bo and Rudy together. Thanks again.

Yeah sorry bout that call. Dang cell phones . Glad Rudy did good for ya though. Bill is still thinking about the gyp if he gets rid of his pointer pups. I hope Rudy will do you as good as he has us.
