I am getiing back into beagling after a long absence(work, raising kids ect) I live in Southwest Virginia and have one decent 12 inch female, I would love to find a decent line of Black and tans, tri color , 13 inch or smaller( I walk too slow to keep up with the taller ones) to get started here. I'm getting ready for retirement and beagling and raising grandchildren will be my fulltime job in the near future.

I have recentley found this site and really enjoy it.

cola,
You and me are thinking alike. I am planning on retiring in a couple of years LORD willing and I am getting ready to breed one of my bitches to IFC Reggie and keeping the whole litter and when I retire I am going to run/train dogs and enjoy my grandchildren. My 1 year old granddaughter loves dogs now so I might have to make her my partner. :D :D

cola,
Try Barry Hart in Honaker. He has a nice gyp that is the sister of his Boss dog that will be for sale soon I think. She is a little slower than what he likes. He will run her with you before he sells. Always been a stand up guy to me. :check: . If you need someone to run with you give me a holler one day. Just across the hill from you in Saltville. Good luck and good running!

Cola, Bill Beavers over your way just bougt a pretty decent female Paycheck bred from me and Bo Clements from Tazewell.
Bill likes to trade and sell, so Im sure you can get her. She aint a bad young bitch, she was just too small for us, around 13 inches.

What style/speed beagle are you looking for? Are you looking for a stud to breed your bitch or are you wanting to buy more beagles?
