Retread is the real deal.I remember when he came down to the states to Ros's having never seen a cottontail.Ros will tell you and Ros is a straight shooter that hound wore that cottontail out like he was looking at it and many other times.Most dogs take time to learn the trade only the really exceptional ones convert right over.If I were in the market for a 15 I would buy this hound in a heart beat.This dog will not only make some one a good hunting/trial hound but may be a sleeper out there in reproducing as Viggs has got all the ink.He's a very very smart dog.This hound would be a great addition to areas of the MWDA , NMHA,and SLPA trialers and hunters alike.

sorry to the the peolpe who left me pm this is my first time useing this board and i just figured out how to open them ifc max was sold to glenn vines from memphis ten he will be there after the 22 if anyone wants to breed to him he is the man to contact i have know doubt he will be the producer his father was for i have pups out of him that are already showing his great traits congrats glenn vines for bying one of those dog.s of a life time


canadian nat winner and ftch retread is still avalable he is 14 an a half " tall and is in great shape is ran 2-3 times a week

I was at Edinburg last year when Destiny won the trial. (Ron Wagner Waggs from Ohio) was judging, and he will verify this story. Dessie from start to finish hooked it up. Several times the hare made double 90's resorting to running the paths to try to escape from the pressure DESSIE was putting on. I thought several times she would run the hare down while the pack was quite a distance behind.The longer the trial the distance became greater.She left zero for the pack to do.I' d say that performance by Dessie and some I saw from Awfulbawlin Hoser are the most memorable runs I ever seen.There was one trial where the judges didn't see a whole lot as she was half a pen length ahead a good bit of the time with the main pack being judged at times on old lines she already blisered the hare through on witness Bob Sweet and Harry Snow Jr were awed by it. Harry Jr I am sure hasn't forgotten it. I saw her take a 4th on SPO-CT and had she had not kept getting pulled to the gate by a hound running across the road several times putting her out of position/score she could have won or placed higher. She can really wheel a cottontail as I saw many times that day. Her mother was the top producing Dam of the NYHA a few years back.I own a younger sister to DESSIE many people have wanted to buy, and she is no match for her sister with only 30 points to go and all her wins Dessie is a cinch to IFC.Dessie has a very young daughter who has a win on snow that hasn't really been to any trials because of her young age.This is a honest to goodness great deal if someone has the finances to purchase this hound.I will stake my reputation on that!She will IFC if ran properily.Steve Church ps she's bred to the hilt to boot!
