Highly experienced Tri Color 15" Male 6yr old

Post by nwbeaglin »

I'm trying to find a great home for my last running dog. I'm getting out of beagling and need a home for this 14-1/2" highly experienced male hound (Barney). This dog was and has been my cleanest running dog out of my entire kennel. Whether you gun this dog or trial him, he won't let you down. He has a licensed 2nd and various sanctioned ribbons. The Sire is Briarpatch Black Boone and the Dam is Hidden Valley Jewel. I am located in Fairfax, VT. $300 OBO. I'm willing to let him go cheaply as long as I am assured he gets a great home and will be run as much as possible.

How is he bred? More specific please. What are his best attributes?
Thanks,

He's a great check hound. Not a front runner. Typically middle pack type hound. But clean. Lots of desire and hunt is best how I can explain. Not sure what you mean by how is he bred.

If I didn't have 2 fine young males I'd grab this one. Well bred and if he runs like the most did in his back ground hes a good one.

I have 3 hounds out of Boone, aged anywhere from 7 yrs to 1 yr. He is throwing some really nice dogs! The 15" Male that won the LPH Nationals last year was out of Boone.
