P-Rod is full of hunt and desire has site chased and opened in the wild a couple of times i just haven't put that much time on him and only had him out solo a couple of times when he was about 4 months old, most of the times i took him out was during season and i took him with my other two hounds to let him get some time under his belt. He is absolutely NOT gunshy and is rabbit crazy. i gave him a couple hides that i let dry out during rabbit season he would scent track through the yard and when he found those he snatched them up and run for an hour in the yard. he has had a couple rabbits shot over him when the older dogs ran one in close proximity of him and he would jump all over it and try to run off with it if you didn't get him. One time i runnin the weekend after season went out andthe other dogs were runnin a bunny and he wondered off and jumped his own and opened up and chased it about a hundred yards or so.
The only reason i am selling him is because he's only gonna be about 11 or 12 inches and i run a 14 to 15 hound with more speed. every time i have taken him out with the other hounds he keeps up with them huntin and bustin the briars until the other hounds jump one and run off and leave him settin. he'll work the track for about 50 or 60 yards and then he hears them other hounds a hammerin and takes off for them and can't never catch and just gives up on them and go's to huntin by his self. I believe he'll make a fine hound just ain't gonna be able to keep up with my pack, if he could he wouldn't be goin anywhere.
