The year old Taz I bought from Bill ran 3 days before he came out of the hare swamps. The backs of his main pads were gone.
Bill will not bull you on a hound. If anyone wants to take advantage of a fellow who is at the moment hung up on field trials, he's getting rid of some very nice hounds...jmho
Thanks again Bill...
ps...
By the way Bill, Taz is now officially, Sugar Ridge Patchwork Razzmatazz
(a noisy celebration) and "that" he is, when there's hare scent at his nose...

Bill, you were fighting the same thing with Taz, I was with mine early on. He spent a couple nights in the swamp alone, but has learned to be mindful of the pack and where I am at now, he looks for me, I don't look for him. He has the nature bred into a hare hound, he gets out and hunts to start his game. I trust him and we have come to trust eachother.
Tessie is a sweetheart, such a soft little hound. She lacks his boldness but want to be sure of herself, no trouble at all...
Hope your puppies do well for you...
