I operate a training facility here in north central Ohio. Unfortunately, I have an AKC male here that the owner has abandoned. The owner could not pay the bill and has forsaken the dog. He sent the AKC papers through the mail to me and they are half filled out. I haven't done anything else with the papers. He was a slow starter, but did eventually get it. The last time he was out, he was opening on a track, but not circling of course. He is a nice looking little tri-colored male about 13 1/2" tall or so. He does seem to handle pretty well. I haven't run him in a while due to all the circumstances. I was going to go ahead and keep this male and see how he turns out, but don't really need another dog. The bill for this dog was $850.00....however, I would sell him for $250.00 firm. Again, not a general practice, and I don't want to seem crooked, but there is no money back guarantee on him. If you buy him, I don't really want him back. There is nothing wrong with him, I just don't want to have to re-place this dog with another owner. I have already lost as much time and money on this dog as I will allow. Anyone interested in this dog is welcome to come and run him in the field before buying as I suggest everyone do anyways. I have nothing to hide, I just thought this might make a good "starter" dog for someone new or or maybe a decent project for a young person. Feel free to give me a call and I will answer any questions regarding the dog as best I can.

Wow Steve, It's amazing someone could do something like that! I admire the fact that you didn't tell everyone who this person was. I must admit I'd have been tempted! Fella's, Steve is as honest as the day is long, and unfortunatly some people take advantage of "nice" guys. One thing I've learned over the years though, is that it usually come back to bite them in the arse! :D Steve has started and ran several dogs for me, and I've always been way more than satisfied with the results! You can bet the dog is further advanced than he says. I had a female there that he told me was running decently, but just hadn't "flipped her switch" yet. I came to pick her up, and when we went out to run her, it just so happened that her switch "flipped" that very day! She will never leave our kennel. Take a gander at this dog boys, you just might be happy you did! :D Bill & Sharon Ennis.
