After taking 10 phonecalls in the first day i must tell you all. YES he is a Running DOG and no he DOES NOT have any extra mouth when he is running. He is just too much in the kennel for my neighborhood. I could collar him and go that route but I just have too many dogs to begin with . He is a big rangy male that hunts hard, has an HONEST MOUTH and runs fast as hell. No he won't fit into a slow to medium pack of dogs as he will take the front and drive...with or without your pack. If you are looking for a great trialing prospect he is the perfect fit... he will make a great addition to your medium to fast pack and he WILL be a great asset to any BREEDING program. He has been shocked off a deer once but hasn't bothered with any since. And yes he is ready to go.Thanks again...Bill...814-742-9126

I have a littermate brother to Blue, and hunted over both of them this past season. This dog would make a great LP dog as he is by far a range roving male. I didnt see much falt with him and thought he ran a nice rabbit with foot to spare.
His sire was an outstanding male by Syris mcgee and FTC three Jay's Jack's Pepper, who was 15 1/2". If not for being oversize Im sure he would have finished in any format. He is one hell of a gun dog still today. The dam, Rheaumes's silvertone Shadow, was trialed by me for only one year and ended up with 90pts and a LP hare win at Adirondack BC. She was med speed, but would just check you to death. Her places came in spo, large pack, on both hare and cottontail. She was also the dam of FC Blue Syris, and had a few other pups from that breeding with wins and places.
The littermate brother Smokes Creek Casey Calhoun, that I own has just turned 2 in March. I have had him one trial last fall, stayed down through 3rd series, but did not get called to the winners pack, in a class of 58 big males. He is a very solid young male and had a great gun season last yr...Oh ya, mine is quite in the kennel, Blu must not like Bill..lol
Whoever does buy this hound, I would hope they could stay in contact with me with updates on him. Good luck.
