Seen a couple I know were good hounds that didn't sell for $400..........However if you have "THE REAL DEAL" it can and will sell for a big price. The question yet to be determined is if this hound is in that very exclusive elite group :?: If it is he will get his price, if its not he will be lucky to get his $400 back. Until any of you commenting have seen this hound run your comments sound like a jealous step child. I gave a hound to a guy that sold it 3 months later for $1500. Made me happy to think that a hound I raised fetched such a price and I couldn't care less what two other men later agreed on. ;)

I am glad you said this cause I do in fact know about this hound and and the original owner in fact lives down the road from me so I'm just putting puzzle pieces together here!!

If someone places an advertisement for something for sale they should be ready, willing and able to answer any and all questions about that item. That is especially true when they purport it to be of superior quality such as the REAL DEAL. What someone paid or what they price something at to sell has no bearing on the value of the item as that is in the eye of the beholder. Looking at an ad on a forum with so many eyes on it there may be several beholders. The eye of one beholder may very possibly be totally different than what the ad states and therefore I would say any question that futher describes the item for sale is one in which defines the legitimatcy of the item in the eyes of the one asking the question. Words can be deceiving both in what are spoken and those not spoken but the eyes don't deceive the beholder if you see or have seen the item advertised.
