I talked to the owner of this hound. He was very forth coming about the qualities in him, good and maybe not so good in somes views. He sounds like a very nice prospect to finish. Probably will finish in the right hands.

I have seen a couple pups from a cross similar with Butkus to Sandy, they did not lack foot and had good hunt.

If I did not have another strong male that was nearing 3 I would be looking hard at this male.
