i bought 2 females from danny and they do nothing but run deer. i ask him the day that i bought the dogs from him if they run any off game and he said i have had no problem with off game. when i took them out they ran two deer in about 30 min of hunting and i thought that 900hundred dollars and five hours of driving one way i would get two pretty decent rabbit dogs but i thought wrong i guess. when i called him he acted like he could care less and said they are just dogs. he said he did not won't them back SO WATCH OUT.

I've known Danny for many years now. I highly doubt he did anything to you on purpose. He might not have had problems with deer. There are some deer down where he lives. They might not have been run in a while and just wanted to run the first thing they came on. Did you watch them run? If not, you are a fool for spending that kind of money and not getting a trial period or watch them run.

roger if you called him 1st and gave him a chance to make it right you did ok., but NEVER buy dogs you dont see run i did it once from merle crain dont know if these are kin and he ripped me good. thats been many yrs ago now andi never buy a dog i dont see run . i raise most of mine anyhow now!

yall amaze me if a man gives you his word that they wont run deer and the man drives 5 hours and pays that much money 2 buy them and gets home and runs them and they run deer the man lied plain and simple if he sees deer along the highway on the way home puts them out on it and they sight chase/open on them they run deer and the man lied if he is selling them for that price and they are deer broke and now he wont take them back he lied. since when is a MAN not responsible for his own words. thats whats wrong with the whole darn world nobody is ever held accountable for what they do or say. roger if you need some dead broke dogs i have got some good old patch hounds for ya and yall get off him he is the one that got screwed and ya know he shouldnt need to watch them run when your paying 900 dollars and driving 5 hours

i wouldt say any and i mean any dog is deer or off game broke
i know dogs at 9 yrs old that never ran off game in there live that all at once did
so if you take someones word on that there is somthing wrong with you
if i drove that far i would say to the guy let go find deer and put them on it

I also have had a hound that never ran one. At 8 years old she took off on one. Never ran a shock collar on her. Never can make a hound fool proof! I know for fact that Danny told that man the one ran a deer and he shocked it off. The other he didn't have around deer much. I don't think he was lying. He might not have known for sure.

he knew the dogs run deer because i shocked them off 1st deer few min later they fire again and like it because i was shocking and they keep on driving never let up and that tells me they like to run deer.they will run a good rabbit but they like deer much better people like danny is why we cant trust anyone they are dead beats like i said if he can live with it i can live with out it .he is a dead beat i will not for get

Tell the whole story. You called him one time saying they were great. The next time you called him you said they were junk and cussed him out. I would have told you to go get F***** also! You're an idiot for buying a dog without watching it run. Be honest here the only reason you wanted the one bitch was for a brood female cause it is a litter mate sister to FC Hill's Primetime Trailblazer. I know you are pissed here but I have known Danny for a few years and this is the first time I've ever heard any bad things about him!

wildhare if danny is such a good guy why didnt he offer to buy the dogs back? surely without running them he should have got a trial on them.
now i dont know either of these guys dont have a dog in the fight but right is just right . as cojax said .. the guy did drive 5 hrs and pay 900 for 2 dogs ..for 2 broke dogs that run well that aint real bad ,but deer dogs go way cheaper . if he didnt want the dogs back he shouldm have sent him some of the money back .

Watching a dog or dogs run at the owners home hunting country is not a valid means of trying a dog. If someone is traveling 5 hours to see a dog run they are at the mercy of the seller. I know in my hunting area if I was not a man of my word I would take the buyer to areas that I knew held little to no deer if I were trying to sell a dog that could run a good rabbit but would also run a deer. A seller making a statement that the dog has not ran a deer for them is also a scapegoat as they could have very well ran a deer for everyone else in the country. I'd take my chances on them hitting rabbits prior to the deer. Some folks put an awful LONG stretch on the words they leaving a lot of wiggle room between what they stated and a bold faced lie. Facts are when a person makes a claim about something they should back up their claim and if the seller is notified within a short period of time that the object is not as it was described then a full refund should be forth coming and if not I then question if the claim was legitimate to begin with. If so then it shouldn't be very hard to resell the item if returned in the same condition as when purchased.
