Cocoa is a 4 yr. old male that has a bawl mouth with good volume to it and will give no extra mouth in a check. He has excellent hunt! He runs a good line with control and is not a swinger, cutter, or slasher. Has the brains to run a track no faster than he can smell. I have witnessed him in good fast paced running and walking out checks till he fills it's time to run again. Guys this is a nice hound with more hunt and desire than a ton of dogs I've seen sell for 4 times what I'm asking. I am letting him go since he is the only grade dog I have left and I wanted to get down to 2 dogs. I think this hound would cross good either way. You cross him to a fast hard hitting LP female and you will get some fast hard hitting pups with line control and I bet he'd put hunt in a durn weiner dog. Cross him with a close running PP style female and keep your control and add hunt and desire. He looked a doe in the face last week 20 feet from him and about 30 yards from me on 2 different occasions and came to me and hopped on my leg for his petting. I have no reason to believe this hound will touch a deer! I witnessed this twice the same day.

he might be a grade dog but he is shure bred well i bet he is a very good dog if i wasnt loaded with young dogs this one i would consider for shure good looking dog too jb

I raised the Weedeater's Sunday Bonnet from 8 weeks old and she was second best hound I ever owned. She placed at over 90% of the trials she went to in LP including winning the AL State at 18 mo. old in the opens for her second 1st toward Ch. and then the MI State at 10 yrs. after I moved to MI for her GrCh then placed in 3 consecutive PP trials. She could run a rabbit anywhere - anytime period. I felt she was worthy of crossing tight and was planning to outcross Cocoa to a very nice selected female but decided to go with AKC hounds and let that line go. So I am starting a new venture now. This hound is no cull I promise.
