1 1/2 year old Driffter/Homer bred male......Price Reduced!!

Post by Bunnyblaster »

Willy is a tri-color upper-medium to fast speed hound with an average nose. He runs well in a pack but could use more solo time.I did not start him until he was almost 11 months old and I have been very busy this winter and don't have the time to run him as much as I would like but given the chance he should finish into a nice hound. He has a loud short bawl that turns to a chop as he runs the rabbit. He packs well and is also collar broke. He stays in the check area and only gives mouth when moving the line forward. He is a very intelligent dog. Because of my limited amount of free time to run him solo he is not progressing as quickly as I would like and I have other hounds to work with so that is why he is for sale. I am asking $200 for him and will allow a trial period .

Ask for Eric when you call.

This male is a grandson to Daileys Driffter. He is sired by Legues Mr Slick and Legues Super Blu. I will try to post a pic tonight.

The price is negotiable, he needs to go as I just don't have time to run him. Make me a reasonable offer.

He is 15" class and runs upper medium speed. I had a guy pick him up that's going to try him for a week but if you're interested in him let me know and I can get in touch with you to let you know if he's still available or not.

PRICE REDUCED...........$200

The guy just called me and said he took him out twice and that all the dog would do is stand by him and not go out and hunt. I have never had him do this before and am not sure why he did it with this other guy. He can be a little shy but I actually had a hard time getting him to stop hunting, not getting him to hunt. If someone is willing to spend a little time with him he really should get going for you pretty quick as I have never had trouble with him not hunting, just lack of experience running a track. He has been started and knows what a rabbit is, he may just need a little extra time to get used to a new home being that he is a little shy. I am dropping my asking price, the first $200 takes him home. I would rather sell him for a little less money to someone that will take him and work with him as he really is a good dog, he just needs a little extra time and TLC.
