First Time....

Well, Izzy (Lanbur's Stealin Kisses) and I made our first show attempt yesterday at the Philadelphia Dog Fanciers Show in Reading PA, she just turned 6 months old last week. Although not a stranger to the show ring, this was my very first attempt at a "table" dog. What a BIG difference from my Shorthairs. Izzy was the only 13" beagle entered, so of course we won 
. BUT, they had a Best Puppy competition and I was quite pleased that Izzy took a Puppy Group 4 with a ring full of some really nice hound puppies. Yep, I even got a pic.
