New Champion :)

Post by Honey Pot Hounds »

I am now the proud owner of AKC Champion Lanbur's Curly Joe!!
Most of you know that Joe was sold to me by Larry G who had done a little small pack with him and had breed him with much success to his field bitches.
Larry got what he wanted and didn't need the extra mouth to feed (and shut up!) so after much begging on my part Larry sent Joe to me.
Joe started his conformation show career in Feb. 2007 at the age of 6 yrs. old and basically flew to his championship winning multiple BOV's over specials! I think it really says something for the quality and breeding of a dog to be able to walk into the show scene for the first time at 6 years old and after a few tentative times around the ring to start winning and LOVING every second of it!
Thankyou Leah B for spotting Joe's ad in the Beagle Forum and thankyou Larry G for letting him come to me.
With much appreciation to you both,
Cindy
PS: I offer generous stud terms for nice field bitches

Thanks for posting that picture Leah. I love that picture :)
That's Joe and my friend Jen who showed him about half the time for me because she is single and childless and goes to shows every weekend. I'm a little jealous at how much Joe loves her too  !!!! I thought I was the only true love of his life  so good thing he's finished and I can keep that kennel wreaking Jen away, LOL ;)

Oh...BTW, Joe's stud fee did go up for SHOW people that aren't my good friends, but for most of my field friends it never will as I know most of you guys don't have the opportunities to sell pups for the prices some of us show breeders do. ;)
Leah knows she can use Joe for free anytime because if it weren't for her I'd still be struggling way back in the dark ages with my Beagles.
So I try to PAY IT FORWARD.

Thanks! He's a happy camper today with his lil hot Parker daughter, LOL.
Too funny that a week ago his little spermies didn't have CH's stamped on their heads but today by golly they all did! LOL....

My friend Jen stacked him so beautifully in that shot. I have a feeling that will be "his" picture for ever more. It's so hard to get a great picture of a beagle unless you are Leah or Aaron or Jon Woodring, et al.

Congradulations on your new Champion Curley Joe. Since deer season is in here in Ohio, I will be taking some pictures of our show breed females that we field trial. I hope that you and Leah will post your comments.
