well you have to keep in mind that Joe was bred by Jon Woodring and is all show dog...he just ended up in a hunting home for a few years but he SHOULD have finished as a showdog YEARS ago. HE'S NOT FIELD BRED OR A FIELD CH., OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT.

Wait a minute, lol ... Curly Joe is all show bred??? AND was hunted with/is producing pups with field ability? I thought he was a mix of field & show! Now thats something, that a fully show bred hound that looks that GOOD can give a bunny a run for its money

Larry ... hey, still offering that free hound? lol Just sold off two of my males - decent field dogs but ugly as sin :dopey:

Naah... Cindy sez he ain't no darn good....sniff, sniff... like she really knew anything about a beagle  just kidding, showgirl... now go paint ol' Joe's toenails pink :P

Just to set the record straight, Lanbur Curly Joe will not, and has never, chased a bunny... his get are pretty darn fair rabbit hounds and have show quality looks (almost). Anyway they ain't fer sale. My current sire is show bred, but he runs in my gun pack too. He's a little too ruff to win in Carolinas SPO, which is why I was going to let him go. But his pups are looking like dual quality dogs, so for now he has room and board. He has the Echo Run breeding on top and Bob Felty/Barren Hills on the bottom all of which are show bred dogs that also know what a rabbit is.
