Home Invasion

I was coming home from work with the groceries. I share the hallway with my neighbors door and as we both arrived home at the same time I waited until she entered her home so that I could open the door to mine and enter after her. I wait because of our Beagle "Bullet" will be waiting anxiously on the other side for my entrance and will run into the hall if I open the door. I guess my 15 yr. old son was too anxious and knowing that I bought a big load of groceries he opens the door to see what I have. At that exact moment our Beagle "Bullet" bolts out the door and before my neighbor can shut her door our dog invades their house. Round and round the coffee table he goes and her little ShiTzu is barking angrily at our dog. Her husband is laughing hysterically and I am myself fearing cardiac arrest from the unplanned excitement. For some strange reason right in the middle of it I yell out "Home Invasion!" Finally he stops when he pics up a little toy of the ShiTzu and sits there holding it in his mouth staring at the little dog. We grab him and leave. Time out in the crate time. That was horrible but quite the cardio workout. Unplanned one that is. Somebody told me that Beagle are actually quite smart and he had probably been planning that for months now.
