Excuses I have heard that made me LOL !

1) Seen a man running his dogs on a rabbit and lost it 1/2 circle of the first circle, He tells me "they ran that rabbit so hard it didnt have time to stop and pee on its feet and ran out of scent" ! He was 100% positive thats how they lost the rabbit,The rabbit gets his/her scent from peeing on their feet...LOL
2)If you or a hound jump a rabbit and the dogs cant pick it up its because the track is to hot and burns their nose, You have to wait 5 mins and put the dogs back on that track....LOL
3)Thoughts on this one ? I dont know what to think
If a doe rabbit is bred, in heat or has a litter/nest, dogs can only run them for about 50yards then lose them due to the fact mother nature protects them (mother and litter) by shutting down their scent (not all scent just most of it) ......This I have heard by more then 1 person


Anyone have any they would like to share ?

I agree on (3) heard and read about that many times and also experianced it.

(2) is just boarderline crazy and very hilarous to me........lol
