Michelle called me yesterday on her way home from Michigan. She told me the following:

Bailey: Isaiah, I can't believe what you said about Miley Cyrus!

Isaiah: ...

Michelle: Isaiah, what did you say about Miley Cyrus?

Isaiah: ...

Michelle: Bailey, what did Isaiah say about Miley Cyrus?

Bailey: I am too embarrassed to say.

Michelle: Well, come up here and whisper it in my ear.

Bailey: Miley Cyrus has nice sexy boobs.

Michelle: Isaiah, you are grounded!

Isaiah: Bailey! What did you tell her!!! I didn't say that! What did you tell her!!!

Michelle: Isaiah, what did you say about Miley Cyrus?

Isaiah: ...

Michelle: Isaiah, come up here and tell me what you said.

Isaiah: Miley Cyrus has nice sexy boobs. (note here, there was a look of innocence here that he had said nothing wrong.) Am I still grounded?

Michelle: Isaiah, you can't go around talking about people's boobs like that, they will get offended and you will get into trouble.

At this point, Isaiah turns all red and looks real embarrassed and immediately comes back with... (now mind you he is only 6 years old)

Isaiah: Mom, I said boots!



Isn't it funny what our mind hears after we have pre-determined what we want to hear? What a good chuckle!
