The Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen faster under President Obama than under any new president in at least 90 years, according to a review conducted by Bloomberg.

Bloomberg reports that since Inauguration Day, the Dow has fallen 20 percent, leading at least one investor to dub this the "Obama bear market." The Dow has also dropped 31 percent since Election Day.

Despite a string of government bailout offers and Obama's advice earlier this week that Americans should be buying stock while shares are low, the Dow has continued to freefall.

Bloomberg reported that Obama is at risk of breaking a historical trend -- in which the Dow soars an average of close to 10 percent in the first year after a Democrat wins the presidency.


Well Obama will at least make history 2 times,1 first African American President,2 first Democrat President not to see the market go up but down.

At what point does Obama take responsibility? At what point is it no longer "Bush's fault"? At what point does Obama have to come through with all his campaign promises? If the Amreican people would have known the market would drop 20% after a few months into Obama's presidency, I am sure he would not have been elected. I think his ratings reflect that truth.

Everytime Obama opens his mouth the market drops. I feel it is by design. Obama wants everyone on an equal playing field, including all the illegals...remember the REDISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH Obama talked about? The liberal socilaists want a North American Union, then migrate to a one world govt. They want to rule through fear and control. The libs want to turn America into a socialist country and disarm the citizens. The handwriting is on the wall.
There will be a rmajor revolt before this is over. I think the devils in office have miscalculted the will and backbone of the American people. It's going to blow up in their faces.
The first order of busines should be to imprison many of these socialist politicians for treason against the Constitution, then send them to a military trail to detemine if they should be hung. Our forefathers would roll over in their graves if they were alive to witness the rape of America that is going on today.

I made it quiet clear I was against the 700 billion dollar bank bailout regardless who signed it and unlike you I can easily admit when my choice makes an idiot decision.You see I have priciples, conservative principles that I stand for and as for the election, yes I voted for McCain and based on the fact that Bush turned the economy around after it was on a downturn from Clinton and took a dive ater 911, at least I know Bush has turned around a bad economy already so if McCain would have done the same we would be in much better shape right now.
