Pine mt you said (I believe) in one of your earlier posts that you served in the military, my dad also served his country so I have a lot of respect for you and anyone else who serves this country and puts their life on the line for me and everyone else on this board and across this great country but if a persons vote is not based on the truth (as best they can find out) then shame on them because people who votes blindly are part of the problem not the solution. Society becoming lazy and wanting government to handle there buisness for them is what has allowed government to get out of hand. We the people have got to sift through the garbage and get to the truth in order to make an educated discision in Nov.

People should be looking at the shape the country is in and saying which candidate has the record and the experience and the policies to get us out of this mess. Examining what that party has done in past and I'm talking facts not BS. We know now that Clintons long term effect on the economy (NAFTA)is going to last for years. If you examine this financial crisis you will find that that problem origanated under Lyndon Johnson when he privatised fannie mae continued under Jimmy Carter when he wrote the community revitalazation act and continued under Bill Clinton when his administration pressured the lending companies to make more of these subprime loans.

You know Bush has had his problems but do we want another Lyndon Johnson or Jimmy Carter or that matter Bill Clinton not if we want to have jobs and a growing economy.

Eddy I'm sure those hundreds of thousands of people who lost their jobs due to NAFTA were really concerned about a deficit or surplus and if he had all that money why didn't he create some jobs for those people. You know most households in this country are in a deficit but I bet the ones who are employed feel a little better about it.

Did you see any of that big surplus I paid less taxes under Bush and I made more money. Now if you want to talk about the value of the dollar it's less under Bush as it has been under about every following president, thats the way inflation works especially when upper end jobs are going out of the country.

You are right about Clinton. He did alot for people on welfare. He took the dollars I earned and gave them a home they could not afford and an education they will not use. Thanks Slick Willy! Life was not good here at all. Working people lost thier jobs, and welfare swelled. What a president does shows up after he is gone as well. I am not a fan of Bush, but I don't think in any way that McCain is a Bush clone. How can you say you may vote for someone that you don't trust to run this country????? Well, he may be really bad for America and promote socialism and the greatest increase in welfare in decades, but atleast he ain't Bush. Sounds smart to me. Also the fact he has supported groups that will help him get elected by registering goldfish and dead people, and a couple of his top aids have went to meet with Muslim extremists, but atleast he is not Bush. He wants me to give 3/4 of my pie that I picked the berries for and baked for hours for my family to some one too lazy to get off thier to pick thier own dang gone berries, but atleast he is not Bush. Sounds like a sound argument to me?????

I hate to say it, but Obama will make Clinton look respectable before he is done with this country...watch for him to make RADICAL proposals within his first TWO years, since the mid term elections for congress and senate COULD make things difficult for him.

It does LOOK like Obama will win, but I wouldnt be shocked if he did not, however each of you need to remember this.

One day you WILL stand before Almighty God, whether you believe in him or not, you WILL stand before him, and will have to account for your actions, all of them...how will you explain voting for a man that wants to allow even MORE killing of unborn babies...someone on this board said it doesnt matter because we cannot do anything about abortion anyway...thats not the same as ACTIVELY SUPPORTING THE MAN WHO WANTS TO INCREASE IT. If a politician will vote to kill unborn babies, what WON'T they allow??? In my opinion, nothing matters after that...you can cut taxes, support defense, create jobs, yada yada yada, til you are blue in the face...if you start out by supporting the murder of unborn babies it doesnt mean a darn thing.
