How can you vote LIBERAL and be a hunter??

Post by bluegrass »

I just wonder how you can support Liberals for office when Liberals have the following in common...

1. Liberals have always been and will always be ANTI FIREARM and ANTI SECOND AMMENDMENT.
2. Liberals are in bed with groups like ELF and PETA which advocate human rights towards animals.
3. Liberals have proposed sweeping gun control laws in the US and have supported lawsuits to gun manufacturers and lawful gun owners who have used their firearms in defensive manners.
4. Liberals think dog "ownership" is a form of slavery...we should regard ourselves as PET PARENTS or PET COMPANIONS instead of owners.
5. Liberals have tried in many states to OUTLAW RUNNING ANY GAME WITH DOGS...this directly applies to almost everyone that comes on this board.
6. Liberals have supported and even drafted legislation calling for special AMMO TAXES to try and drive the everyday gun owner to the poorhouse...Charles Schumer and the late Patrick Monyhan supported a 1000% increase in the tax on ammunition and wanted those that had over 1000 rounds of ammo to have a special arsenal tax...
7. Liberals have portrayed gun owners and hunters as ignorant hicks, out of touch with reality and Obama has recently been recorded as saying that we are out of the mainstream, clinging to our guns and religion.
8. Liberals have the explicit approval of groups like PETA which have advocated assaulting those that wear fur or leather.
9. Almost all militant vegetarians now consider themselves to be VEGANS and are almost all Liberals as well.
10. Liberals have consistently fought against common sense wildlife management to the detriment of hunting and running grounds for us all.

How can anyone that considers themselves hunters see the sense in voting for Liberals that threaten the things we all like to do??? Dont be fooled by what they SAY during a campaign regarding hunting and guns, Liberals track records speak for themselves...

The 1st amendment allows the usual liberal narcissistic "I think.." which is how they start all their sentences.

The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"

Do you want another 4 years of Bush? I love America and American JOBS! I don't want a war, and the economy is in the gutter over Bush's failed policies! Just 10 days ago bush and McCain both said the economy is strong. That just shows how much these two like to deny reality, and how very little they actually know about what is going on around them. Keep voting republican, because they need every vote they can get. The rest of America will step up to the plate and bring change for YOU by voting in the next president of the United States...Obama 08!!!

When it is all said and done WE will still have our guns, our dogs, etc…with a Democratic President, and we will for once be heading in the right direction. Before you republicans make another comment on this board you should honestly wait to see how bad your little blonde princes Palin falls on her face in the debate. This lady is dumber than a box of rocks and has no clue. If you haven’t seen this yet you are just as blind as the Bush and McCain. McCain’s biggest down fall will be his choice of VP (Palin) when this election is over. Then fool should have stuck to his guns and picked Lieberman. He would have had a chance if he had.

TC...I like you more all the time. Excellent post!
This new younger generation is soft and been drinking kool-aid way to long. Seems they'd sell their soul for what they perceive as $$$ or security when the hope they are basing this on is all BS.
Like you...I have no fear of Obama being elected. I am ready to hold my ground. ;)

Any fool that thinks we'll still have our guns with the Liberals steering the ship is in for a rude awakening. Guns targeted this time around (in addition to the last victims) include the semi-auto shotguns and such evil monstrosities as the Ruger 10/22. I'm sure even some of you democrats have some of these types of guns around, because I've seen them for sale in the classifieds here. And Yobama doesn't think us taxpayers/sesrvants need pistols either.

So it's settled, we will survive and the system will work as it should(checks & balances)... all is good in the world and life will go on.
Complacency is a thing of the past(at least for now) and results with accountability will be restored in Gov., business and personal life.
"Freedom is eternal vigilance"... I'm learning something new every day, priorities have changed and the things that once seemed upsetting are now put in proper shelving low on the list. The most amazing thing about this Country is to see it's system put in action, all boilers on full and the democratic process hitting on all cylinders. I'd venture a guess, the most bang we've gotten for our buck since 9/11.
Good to see the Gov. working for the people at home again... ;)
Best Wishes to all in this time of change.

I must disagree with you on this one TC. She actually "invited" an investigation into the firing......then had to have her husband and others subpoenaed and in the end, the First Dude wasn't the only no-show. The five other witnesses who had been subpoenaed with Todd Palin were also, as expected, missing from the Alaska Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing into the so-called Troopergate scandal.

I am not saying if she done wrong or not........but I have no doubt this beech is as much of a liar as the rest of them!!! She is obviously a snake in the grass......not that Biden/Obuma or McCaint is any better. Just calling them as I see them. If she didnt do anything wrong, then she should prove it since SHE requested the investigation on tax dollar.

Cheers.

With the responses so far no one has yet answered my question...all sanford does is spout off anti Bush sentiment (I didnt ask about Bush in my question) and Patch, I cannot for the life of me figure out what your post had to do with the question :???:

The gist of the question is how can someone vote for the people that are so adamantly opposed to what you claim you love so much...hunting and running??

For Some maybe not All but For Some it has to be the lesser of two Evils
For Me personally it dont matter Who Gets in or What laws are passed I will Still have my Guns Till the day they bury me!!!
not really Concerned about the Gun laws our Constitution is Set up in a Way Where Sorry to Say it ""it just aint gonna happen""
Oh Sure they will try by Endrunnin things Taxing ammo, making Clips more than 5 rounds Illegal, No Auto weapons, Ect,
Hell they Made pot Illegal And Sure are a lot of pot Smokers left out there aint there??? (By the looks of things They Could use a refill on Capitol hill)

So Like i was saying to SOME their jobs and keeping up with the Jones is more important to them than their Rights..
They Feel that they can give up a little to get a little !!!! They are Still young and just aint learned any better yet!!!
they are easily Swayed by the Soft Spoken hypnotic Voices that tell them what they wanna hear....
The common Goal has been lost it is the ALL about ME Society of today...the I want MINE NOW Group!!! I wont hold it against them.

And Randy thats What i was saying YES she fired him..
When accused of Wrongdoing She Said PROVE it.. So far they havnt!!!
And YES your Correct All politicians are SNAKES but I would much rather have a Copperhead (or a pitbull With lipstick) in Office than a Cobra..
Again The lesser of...
I have many friends and relatives Who live and Work in Alaska. the one thing that all of em have to say about Sarah Palin Is she will stick to her guns She wont go Down withot a fight and will tell ya straight up!! not just what ya wanna hear. She will FIGHT for what she believes in and Most Important WHAT they ASK HER To DO.
Isnt this the or Shouldnt it be the Goal Of all politicians to listen to their constituents and be their voice???
Like i have said over and over again you just need to Vote your Conscience We ALL have our own Ideas And Most are not gonna be Swayed by Some back and Forth Bickering on a beagle Board...
All ANY of us can do is Hope and pray that those Few Who Will Stand up Will Do so for all of us on that Day When needed.
Are you one of them!! I like to Think So...

Yes, she said "prove it" but then when they attempt to prove it she forced people to be subpoenaed.....and used a tax payer paid attorney to get the hearings delayed until January.....by then we will be stuck with her and her lies. It is painfully obvious that she is as full of crap as the next one.

The silence on this particular question is overwhelming...I didnt really expect decent, succinct answers but I thought some would try...

No one seems able to defend voting for Liberal candidates if they truly enjoy their guns and hunting...

I thought so

Because they can't. It makes no sense and must be confusing for them. What a dichotomy.

Well Tony........Last time I checked the liberals had been against them things forever. Just to make sure the libs didnt take my guns last time, I went and checked and sure enough.......I still have a vault of weapons and ammo :P I personally think the "they are gonna take my guns and hunting" scare tactic dont hold any weight now days. People are getting wise and holding our elected officials to the fire.

I sure as hell know they will never take my guns until they pry them from my cold, snug fingers

You know Randy, thats the kind of attitude that will allow them to take your guns and villify you for trying to defend them. Suppose it really comes down to having to hide your guns or fight with them, you really gonna start shooting at ATF agents or God forbid National Guard troops??

You can put your head in the sand and say it will never happen here, but thats exactly what people have thought in the past in European countries (England for sure) and look at them now. Its not with a thunderous rage and booming clamor that they will accomplish it, but with incrementalism and babysteps...they know they cannot pass sweeping measures to force us to give up hunting and guns, but if they succeed in little things they will add up to YOU AND I as well as everyone else here who owns guns and hounds, losing our collective rights guaranteed by the Second Amendment...I for one would rather defeat them NOW with votes and legislation rather than having to actually shoot someone...
