Rufus, I have to take exception to what you have written in this post...you are making assumptions that simply couldnt be further from the truth...I am NOT a wealthy man, not in material ways. I AM wealthy because I have a family that I would DIE for, because I have a wife that puts up with me when she shouldnt, because I get to coach my sons baseball teams, because I get to rabbit hunt in the fall and winter, and the list goes on...not because of any money that I may have (I dont have enough to be considered wealthy by the US standards).

You might call that a realistic way of looking at things, I call that a COWARDLY way of looking at things. To settle for the next best thing is to give up on what you believe. Its called having convictions and I WILL NOT compromise them. Too many people in this country have settled for way too long...settling for less leads to things like gay marriage, infanticide, euthanasia, more rights for criminals than victims, bended knee foreign policy which in turn leads to attacks on Americans. When we say things like what you have written we compromise, when you compromise you allow evil to get the upper hand. You seem to claim to be a Christian...Christians have NEVER been told to settle for whatever life throws at them, we are to ask God and claim the promises written...not settle for what the world offers. You say you voted for Obambi because he was the next best thing....what happens when the so called next best thing believes things that offend the Almighty?? You are then choosing Obama over God....
