Justin, surely you know the difference between 8 years and 8 months. Bush was sworn into office for his first term in January 2001. In September 2001 the twin towers were hit and 3,000 people died pretty much in an instant on American soil -- something that could have been avoided if Clinton had taken Sudan up on one of their THREE OFFERS TO CAPTURE, ARREST, and EXTRADITE Osama Bin Laden. The last offer to deliver the terrorist came in 2000, and Bill Clinton passed on the offer. This proved to be the worst failure of foreign policy this country has ever seen.

Between NAFTA and Bill Clinton's failure to heed his own words, words spoken in his second term State of the Union address, and his refusal to stop the Al Qaeda terrorist, Bush walked into a powder keg.

Pine mt you are the one twisting the truth, blaming the wrong people and how many times have I and many others on here posted legislation, statistics, and so on that you ignore because you cant refute it except with your opinion. I have said many times show me I am wrong and I will have no problem admitting it. That seems simple enough but you continue with the same rhetoric. I grew up dirt poor and worked my butt off to get to where I am and that sure isn't rich.

You are right about a couple of things you said, I dont believe in food stamps, welfare and government handouts to people who dont contribute anything to the country, put all of them on unemployment and give them a time line to contribute or figure how they are going to eat. Its past time for people to be accountable.

Charles...I realize you didnt mention Obama...I did say that it SEEMED like you were referring to him. If I was wrong, well its not the first time...and no Dr Phil, my heart is NOT full of hate. I actually dont hate people, I hate certain ideas and policies, but not people. Why is it though that when you criticize democrats its "hate" but when you criticize republicans or conservatives its called "debate" or in the case of Hillary Clinton, "patriotic"...??

No, I dont think a politician could do all that to me...he or she also cannot restore trust and faith either. I dont and never will put my trust in man, government, etc...my TRUST and FAITH is in someone with much more credibility than that...

I never said anything about a utopia or about Obama. Don't you see, that's a preconceived notion you have in your head, so, your fighting against that, and not with me...

Don't you guys see that you've upset Pine mt. to the point he wants to leave? He has worked all his life like we have to get what he's got. Stands to reason he don't like free loaders but, he also sees those who need help and thats the right thing to do is to help those less fortunate. There is no perfect system, first thing some people want to do is take a good thing(system) and figure some way to abuse it, those are the exceptions tho, not the rule, when dealing with human nature you have to take the good with the bad and know that the good your doing outweighs the bad.

I hope I don't convey the thought that I'm favoring one party over the other, like children, they both need a spanking when they've done wrong...to not do so would be the equivalent of being "kennel blind"...

I believe, "for every action, there is an opposite and equal reaction". That's what we're experiencing now in these times, like it or not...The ole pendulum is swing back, she may over-shoot but she will balance herself again at some point... jmho

Everyone on different parties seem to have the notion that "if your not for us, then your against us" and that's just not the case. It's kind of like a marriage, most successful marriages are accomplished by learning how to "bend", it's a life of compromise for the common good that keeps a marriage strong. It's based on love and trust, the cornerstone of a good life, the cornerstone of a great Country...

Oh yeah? Leave those cows and calves and ma's good 'ol gravy, and come live up here in Indianapolis, Center Township. I'll give you less than 6 months before you're crayfishin' like crazy on that statement. When people complain about handouts and 3-generation welfare families, they aren't talking about places like Bicknell and Petersburg. I have more population in a 8-square block neighborhood than some "towns" will ever see. And I don't keep a lifetime handgun permit for nothing.

Think about it, where did that "profit" come from? The government took on all of their bad debt which makes the books look good immediately.

The shorting will begin again now that the market has ticked up.

NO Patch I am hear to fight. I've seen it for the last 8 years,everytime Bush said or done something the Democrats were all over him. He made some bad choises but he done some good things. He tried to keep this country safe but the Democrats didn't want that,they wanted him to fail. I thought it was sorry,I have backed every President he may not have been the canidate I wanted but he was president and that commanded respect but after what I seen happen to Bush I belive its a battle for the America I grew up in and the one I want my son to know. Conservitives have to fight and be herd,we need to get the truth out,Obama and his Liberal supporters don't want that. Obama isn't worried about America he wants power like Pelosi and the rest of the swill in washington.
