Yes I work I am a roofer. I do not have health care nor have I ever had it. I dont understand obama care nor do I want it.
I have never recieved any type of wellfair and would hunt my food an grow a garden before I would ever even think of such a thing(handouts).
Americans who take advantage of the welfair system are a descrace as people are starving and fighting for gains of rice in some places.

I have worked an earned every thing I have. Never took handouts never even ask for help.

I Love my country an those who serve it with honor even went out an bought a flag to fly high in my yard.

As for this rep. Dem. Thing I just can see sence in takeing a side without really understanding all points of view

Just a couple of point's and a question or two,

You will wish you have health care ,for you and your family ,or every thing you have worked for will be gone at your first hospital stay (( you want be be bullet proof for ever )),Health care in America is very over priced that is part of the affordable care act to help reduce the cost of health care.

You say you will hunt for food and not take welfare -that is great -how will you pay for your electricity,house car,send you children to school,Most who visit this Board are hunter's and fisherman.I think most every one here could provide meat for their family.and that is an honorable thing ,,but not every thing.

Just a question --->how many of your family parent's aunt's uncle's in law's get Social Security.Medicare ,or some type of help ,if none .that's great.!

But ,it is a good post -and I salute you for it.every one here ,I think will honor our troop's.

My parent never gave me anything or sent me to school I was responsible for my self .

Chapko, AWESOME post!!! Hard working Americans are what this country was founded on, not non working "TAKERS" like PMB and his clan. If you do the research you will find that the Republican party works for the blue collar worker. Not too long ago GWB gave the American people a stimulus to help us out. Now Obama gives a non warranted stimulus package to the big banks and big corporations which have done nothing for you and me. Obama also instituted his Obamacare which drives up the cost of healthcare for you and me and is costing a lot of Americans their jobs at this present time because its driving up the cost to Companies to the point where they have to lay off workers to stay afloat, and to provide for the workers they keep. As a hard working American just keep watching what transpires over the next couple years and make a educated decision on how you are going to vote in the future. Just dont take PMB's cut and paste garbage as factual. It's all liberal garbage. As we all know most news shows and newspapers are run by Liberals which is why he calls Fox News the Terrorist Network. Rabbit and Newt will keep PMB held to the fire.

PMB you see I study these posts, it has been established that you have been recieveing for years. During those years you have been able to establish your own bloodline of beagles which is a high achievement but takes many hours and lots of WORK, I have done this myself, you also brag about your fishing and now your fiest dogs. IMHO a man able to do all of these things is also able to work not to mention you have bragged about being offered jobs, well paying jobs not for what you can do but for what you know. I never got Social Security when I got Crippled and off work ,I had My own money To Retire own ,and My Beagles were Started in 1974->I have not ran a beagle in over 8 or 9 year's I have as forgetting in the brush THat has been even longer I have a very good friend who Know's more than I do who does that, I gave Him My hound's a Few year's ago ,Because I had to ride an A.T.V. to watch them ,Then I got to where ,I could not ride an A.T.V. and got a Polaris Ranger side by side,and That is how I hunt These little Feist and It's funny But I just sold some of my Feist and have only a couple more to sell because My son has to work out of town to much to help me hunt them .

As for fishing I have a 19 ft -boat ,that has air ride seat's ,that set's better than my lazy boy.

But just so you Know When you get there some day ,There is a difference in being disabled and being dead,I would give a year of my Social Security for You to live in my body or one just like it ,for just 1 month-->No not really, I would not wish that even on a republican.

You see when I was a young man and older men came to work ,and complained with their Back's --I thought the same thing's you do -now-->because I was young and (( A Registered Republican )) and did not know any better ,people would be off work a few week's ,and I thought they were just sorry ,But I learned It took about -1-day- after I got busted up the last time ,to ask God to forgive me for being foolish .And I have never, ever looked at some one who said they had Pain the same way again.

There is an old saying I have mentioned before after you read it you will Remember it for ever----THE ONLY PAIN THAT IS REAL IS THE PAIN ---YOU---FEEL.---That mean's if you are in pain -from loosing a loved one -or ,loosing your job--or ,finically or ,any of the many way's a person can feel pain,,no one else can feel that pain just you.

If you guy's would spend more time trying to get the Republican Party, back in the real world and away from the right wing nut job's like the tea party etc.it would be much more beneficial to every thing .

Well PMB thats a nice post but I am believer that if you can do what you want too, you can do what you should. Now I'm not that young and by the time my dad was my age he had already had 2 back surguries and had went back too work after both. People who can do the things they want to do can work. In your case you have plainly stated they didn't want you too work they wanted your knowledge, I'm sure they would buy you a nice comfortable chair. Let me tell you something your don't have a monopoly on pain. I have been on arthritis meds since I was 34, volteran currently or the generic diclofanac. I have been on alopherinol for ghout since I was 43, I know a little about pain. There are different levels of pain but you have no monopoly. I lost my 1st cousin March will be 2 years ago, diabetees got the best of him. He was only 46, now he was disabled. Lost part of his toes, Got rid of his dogs, got out of his hunting club long before his doctor told him he just couldn't keep trying to work, He!! he couldn't hardly walk. I've seen disabled and I've hunted with people who claimed to be disabled.
