Yeah Tim it is funny how most on here don't think there is any other way. I don't really care which way anyone wants to vote, just don't slam everyone who has a difference of opinion. Just like this TommyG with his comment. I don't vote strait one way or the other. I do however vote on who will help with jobs. Our govenor wanted to get rid of an equal playing field to bid jobs in this state. So yeah I voted democrat. There are some republicans that I would vote for. I would have prefered a different candidate for president, but I don't think that we were doing very good the other way. I didn't agree with alot of things that Bush did. I am sure that I won't agree with things that Obama will do either. Can you honestly say this country wasn't sliding down the hill before Obama got in?

The truth? How about the truth of Bush throwing this country into a downward spiral? How about all the money he wasted? How about the money that he and the vice president made on the war? The war that he wanted! Sadam tried to kill his father and he was repaying him the favor. If you want to call a spade a spade why don't you tell us what all he did wrong?

It was sliding downhill before Bush got in. He barely had time to consider the broad scale damage Clinton did before 911 hit. The real question will be, "Can you honestly say that Obama's not making it worse?"

I have said before that I didn't like the Bush spending policy. His spending policy got us sliding downhill. However, while we were, sliding downhill, Obama added weight and told us it would slow us down. Gravity works the same way whether a Republican or Democrat argue against it.

Well wildhare I have never been bashful about saying Bush was a liberal spender, I wont ague that with you. I also wont argue Bush went to war with Afganistan and Iraq, although I dont agree with your reasons and since theres no for sure proof of either of our opinions 'll let it go. I would like to see your proof W. made money off of the war. I am also interested in the legislation that W. signed, wrote, deregulated that caused the banks to fail, the stock market to fail, the gas prices to skyrocket, the jobs to be exported. Lets see if you can be the first Bush basher to produce the legislation acts/bills to validate the accusations.

Another fact that seems to get missed is we were not in a recession until the democrats had both houses during the last 2 years of Bush's second term. Could the recession have anything to do with that? Has the recession deepened since the democrats got the white house as well? It has, and those are sure some strange coincidences. No recession for 6 years with Bush despite the attacks of 911 and fighting a war on terror. Democrats come into power in the last 2 of an 8 year presidential term and a recession hits. Obama takes office and the recession threatens to get to Carter territory.

I will agree with you. Make stipulations on the welfare. A good friend of mine buys houses and then rents them. He rents to a lady that gets section 8 housing money, welfare, food stamps, etc. She has a son that is about to turn 17 and she told my buddie that she is going to get pregnant again so that the government will give her money. I wish that they would do something about that.

So I take it you think Sadam should be still in power. He never killed thousands of his own kinsmen. Just like a Democrat side with a Terroist. Regardless what the Liberal press reports he done what needed to be done to kill terroists. Not popular with the Democrats but the truth. I belive Barny Frank and Chris Dodd with a Democrat controlled Congress was the culprits you refer to,they wanted Bush to fail,if Obama was the man in Charge then they would praise him for getting rid of a Tyrant Like Sadam.
