Re: SO YOU TO BLAME WHO-!!!!!!
Pinenut , you keep saying what have the rep done for the people who elected them. First off I do not expect them to to dam thing for me. What they are elected to do is protect me from people like Obumer from doing things to me, like telling me I have to buy HC. I know this is above your understanding. If your watching close enough even the far left is turning on the president, why because he has no idea to handle anything.

I would like for you to tell us how much they pay in taxes and how much their employees pay in taxes, then how commerce would be affected if the Oil companies quit.
Obama says he wants to cut fossil fuels. How is that windmill working our in your backyard?
I think that he means he wants to cut American production so his family can sell us more oil.
Rufus, in your history books/ civics book, who makes the laws?
Who has had control of the house, senate, and presidency for the last eighteen monts. Isn't it a fact that the Dims have had control of the house and senate for the last three and a half years.
Can you give me a quote from any source where Bush blamed Clinton for the towers being bombed or anyone else for the lack of support for Katrina. Even though there were two democrats, the Major of New Orleans and the Govenor of Louisiana, who were just as incompetent as Obama, who claimed to be in control of the situation from the start. Sound familiar? By the way, both have been voted out of office in the first election since Katrina. You can fool all the people some of the time. Only a few can be fooled all the time. Look in the mirror.

-Despite BP Spill, Oil Companies Still Keep Tax Breaks
By Michael Cohn June 16, 2010
The Senate voted down an attempt to repeal $35 billion in tax breaks handed out to oil and natural gas companies, even as Washington professed to be getting tough with the oil companies.
Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., had proposed an amendment to repeal the lucrative tax breaks, but his amendment was defeated by his Senate colleagues in a lopsided 61-35 vote on Tuesday. Sanders had introduced the amendment to the tax extenders and jobless benefits bill, echoing provisions in the Obama administration’s proposed budget for next year. The Sanders amendment would have devoted $25 billion of the savings to deficit reduction. The remaining $10 billion would have funded an Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Grant Program.
Sanders pointed out that the oil and gas companies have profited handsomely from the tax break. “Exxon Mobil, the most profitable corporation in the world, not only paid no U.S. taxes last year, but also received a $156 million tax refund,” he noted.

George Bush shares much
of this pathological hatred.
He, and members of administration, have repeatedly blamed Clinton
for problems from the Mid East violence to our Economic woes. Often, after
blurting out a snide attack against Clinton, administration officials are forced
to back down and apologize. But this "blame Clinton first" reaction reflects a
lack of maturity on the part of officials who cannot accept responsibility for
their own actions.
Ironically, as much as Bush dislikes Clinton, one could argue that in
many ways, he is doing a pretty good job of imitating Clinton (politically, not
personally). Remember Clinton's "Third Way"? Bush's version is called
"compassionate conservatism." Remember Clinton's efforts to "triangulate"?
That is precisely what Bush is doing-positioning himself between the liberal
Democrats and the conservative Republicans. Remember Clinton's grotesque
fundraising? Bush has eclipsed even Clinton in this field, with White House
"sleepovers" jokingly referred to as "Bed, Bush, and Beyond."

Sorry Rufus, you are not considered a reliable source. Even if you heard it from those little demons in your head.

Yet again, Dufus REFUSES to post a LINK to his source...my bet is STILL on Chief Long Hair...
Until you DO provide a link to your cut and paste masterpieces the rest of us have no choice but to discount what you post...for someone who claims to be INDEPENDENT you sure do a good job of towing the LIBTARD line of The Daily Kos and the Liberal Underground.
IDIOT
The 1st amendment allows the usual liberal narcissistic "I think.." which is how they start all their sentences.
The second amendment protects us from implementing "I think"

He MAY have clipped it from there but he wasn't smart enough to find it himself...he's being prodded and directed by someone else...take a look at his posts with so called original thought versus these cut and paste posts...the difference in intelligence is glaring. Apparently he has also been coached to leave out the source of his wisdom, for obvious reasons I suppose.
