Rufus, after reading your last post, I find the last sentence(hard to determine where it actually is) typical of a full blown democrat. All this time you had me believeing you where an independnt.
I think it says something about all the money that the democrats gave you.
Question..............Now where did this money that the goverment gave away, actually come from?
Some came from me darn it and I'm tired of giving a 1/4 of my pay check to support crack heads and so forth that are too darn lazy to work. Been doing it for 35 years now.
I wonder sometimes how much money over my life time, just how much money the goverment has taken from me and where it actually went. Lazy a$$ democrats waiting for their handout, I would say.
Thanks for allowing me to vent, first thing in the morning. My day is now complete.

Here's my reason as of now. I work for the Commonwealth of Va. Our out going Governor, a Democrat, said that our economy was so bad that all State employees had to take a days furlough without pay. Our new governor, a Republican, says that the state is in pretty good shape (eliminating some wasteful spending) therefore he is giving the State employees a bonus. I have been working in this job for 6 years under a democratic governor and have never got the first raise of any type. Everything in this world has gone up except my pay. Now keep in mind I deal with disabled people on a daily basis, working almost all holidays and in all types of weather (the center is open 24/7 when everyone else is enjoying time with their families.
That's just one of the reasons I'll vote Republican.

=Virginia's Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission released a report titled Review of State Spending 2009 Update in November of 2009 showing state spending has jumped 28% when adjusted to account for inflation and population growth from FY 2000 to FY 2009. The annual operating budget grew from nearly $21.4 billion for spending during the year that began July 1, 1999, to slightly more than $37 billion for the budget year that ended June 30, 2009. Areas of state spending that grew the most were funding for--- health care services--- and public education. The K-12 reductions would loosen the state's basic educational standards while reducing funds for support staff, supplemental salaries for coaches and teachers who serve as club sponsors, and health insurance for teachers.
