Actually Dr. Chris you are wrong about NAFTA, talks began under Ronald Reagen and continued under G. H. W. Bush and was signed into law by Bill clinton and using your logic since Clinton didn't get Bin Laden when he had his chance we can blame 911 and the war in middle east on him but the fact is presidents have to be held accountable for their actions. NAFTA belongs to Clinton he signed it into law, the war belongs to Bush, the financial crisis belongs to the democrats on capital hill like Barney Frank and Chis Dodd and yes your candidate Obama who by the way recieved the 2nd most in contributions from Fannie mae and as far as the promises of both candidates neither will keep all of them. Clinton also promised not to raise taxes on the middle class but he did and Obama will to, thats what his voting record says.
McCain is closing fast and leading in some polls, too bad some of you have told yourselves these lies until you actually believe it. facts and accountability not half truths and excuses.

Re: Obama meets Joe the Plumber
I understand what you’re saying, but I left Regan out because though there were talks about it which included Canada and Mexico, Regan was against it. He thought it would cause us to move towards open borders making the United States less secure and more subject to the threat of terrorism, his exact quote was: “A nation without borders is no nation at all.” Bush however, was for it and pushed it and signed it, to send it forth at the NAFTA Initialing Ceremony, October 1992. It was than subject to ratification by the legislatures of the three countries for one year, if passed it then had to be signed by the chief negotiators of each country, which one year later was Bill Clinton. Of course we all know now that Regan was right. We more than likely will never have the opportunity to put another Ronald Regan in office. Not anytime soon.Rabbithoundjb wrote:Actually Dr. Chris you are wrong about NAFTA, talks began under Ronald Reagen and continued under G. H. W. Osama? Clinton did nothing because he didn’t “lead” and he listened to the advice given to him. Bush tried to lead but was a lousy leader. He totally ignored what the majority said and went to war ignorantly. Both were wrong and failed in many areas but Bush is by far the worst this country has ever seen. Some people are not meant to be leaders, Jimmy Carter? A great guy, a moral christian that is a great father and husband and has done more for the US than anybody, but he was a horrible president. I see McCain in his category, a war hero that was faithful to his country and will be very well respected for that, but he is not a leader and I think will make a bad president. And it makes it worse when you even think about uttering the words “President Palin” That’s just scary.
As far as the financial crisis? You can’t pin that on the Democrats no more than I can pin it on the Republicans. When it comes to money, they are all dirty to an extent and are out to get wealthy. John McCain dumped his first wife to get access to her father’s money and political connections, and the fact she was 17 years younger and hot only sweeted the deal. McCain aide’s firm was paid by Freddie Mac. One of the giant mortgage companies at the “heart and blame” of the credit crisis paid $15,000 a month to a firm owned by Senator John McCain’s campaign manager from the end of 2005 through July 08. This contradicts a statement two months ago by McCain that the campaign manager, Rick Davis, had no involvement with the company for the last several years. And I do not doubt that Obama has taken “dirty” money, they all have. As I said before, we don’t have a Ronald Regan we can vote for. This is not a campaign of voting for who has done the most good, this is a campaign to find out who has done the least amount of “bad”. I don’t think anybody from either side feels like McCain or Obama is a Regan. We are all trying to figure out who is the better of the two evils we have to pick from. I just happen to think it is Obama.

And you don't think Obama is scary? Give me a break! Even if you only believed 1/5th of all the links and posts attributed to Obama on this forum alone, it should scare the Hell out of you. Many of these links and posts are direct words form Obama so don't come back and write it is all of Republicans being onesided and partisan. You make no sense Dr. Chris and it is clear you're totally confused. What has McCain or Palin said or did that scares you so much and why aren't you concerned about Obama's voting record, his history, his own words?Dr. Chris wrote:

Your got to be kidding! You give us all a break! You want to post a bunch of half truths that are taken out of context, added to or stuff taken away from to make things seem something they are not! You give links to third party second hand rumor mills that base everything they have on lies or distort the truth until it becomes a lie. What do you have out of Obama's own mouth or Biden's own mouth that makes them "non-American"? Nothing! You have nothing but second or third party rumors. I on the other hand have absolute proof that Palin is a joke, cannot be trusted and is and is married to: anti-American as they come, Fact! A two-faced liar who supports right-wing or left-wing policies severely out of line with mainstream America is tolerable. It has been for years. Differences can be worked out and issues addressed. Liberal and Conservative, Republican and Democrat, we all are Americans and can agree that our country is great and deserving of the best. A woman who looks favorably upon an anti-American secessionist political party is not what's best for the United States. What really makes me dread the possibility of Palin becoming vice president is a little Alaskan political movement she has been friendly with called the AIP (Alaskan Independence Party). The Alaskan Independence Party wants Alaska to secede from the United States and become an independent country. According to the AIP's official site, the party's intermediate goals before independence are to achieve the most limited government possible, and the platform outlining how to do that reads like a standard list of right-wing, libertarian nostrums with the word Alaska thrown in for good measure. They actually use the term "state's rights" in the official platform. You may remember "state's rights" from your high school history class. It was the rallying cry of racists who wanted to keep slaves in the 1860s and stop civil rights in the 1960s. Party founder Joe Vogler once said, "I'm an Alaskan, not an American. I've got no use for America or her damned institutions." So what does this have to do with Palin? Well, at the 2008 AIP convention in Fairbanks, Governor Palin delivered a video message to the little group of America-hating, would-be rebels. In the message, she says, "Your party (the AIP) plays an important role in our state's politics," and "I share your party's vision of upholding the constitution of our great state. McCain can buy her all the red, white and blue clothes all he wants. You can glue wings to a cow, that don't make it fly, and this Tuesday you will find out why!Pike Ridge Beagles wrote:And you don't think Obama is scary? Give me a break! "You give us all a break"
You are the one who needs to give us ALL a break. You have posted more propaganda than anyone on here and I see you have FIVE threads on this page alone.
You have to be kidding!. How many posts have been made that were out of Obama's own mouth. Can't you read or are you that stupid? You are guilty of what you are accusing other members here of...a typical liberal tactic.
Redistribution of wealth thread...go review it. Obama's own words......it equates to Socialism! I suppose he never was associated with Ayers either? Did you watch the video that was just posted this even concerning Fannie and Freedie and the Black Caucus? If McCain or Palin had committed half the controversy that Obama had what do you think most Americans would feel about them? But, when you have the biased media and Hollyweird in your pocket and many Americans don't take the time to find the facts it comes as NO surprise that Obama has a lead in the polls.
If Obama doesn't win it would be amazing considering all the liberal bias media (75% more negative media towards McCain than Obama), the unaccounted for contribution$ (outspent McCain 3 to 1), Acorns VOTER FRAUD (you know...the organization that Obama gave $80,000.00 to), etc. I could go on!
And, don't even try to use the race card ( I can read between the lines of several of your threads). It has nothing to do with race, at least not for me. I personally think you must hate women the way you rag on Palin.... you never address McCain. Remember Obama is running against McCain, not Palin.
Don't you feel like the minority here pal? Go beat your drum over at Move On Dot Org. You're a disgrace to all houndsmen and women and VETERANS! You talk in circles and post links directly from Obama's website. You're not impressing anyone here but your own self. I tell you what...I have just about had it with your BS.

The part about Palin being associated with a group that wants Alaska to become its own country...its bunk, but even if it were true you CANNOT find one example of where anyone with that group bombed the Capitol building, has written of their remorse for NOT DOING MORE in the way of domestic terrorism, or has the support of Hamas, Al Qaeda, Iran, etc...ala Obama the Annointed One.
People please remember: This man was actually present in the Senate for only 143 days before deciding that he was qualified to become President...Megalomania at its best.

Dr. Chris I think you omitted Reagen because you obviously liked him so you took a shot at H. because you dislike W. I HAVE A QUESTION FOR YOU: which do you think will have the worse long term effect on the people of this country NAFTA or the WAR. I think there is no comparison (the war will end) the jobs that have left, are leaving and will continue to leave will have a much worse effect on the people in america for years to come.
If you can beat Palin up over some special interest group in ALaska with the associations that Obama has a UNREPENTANT TERRORIST, A PREACHER THAT PROMOTES BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY, A CHURCH THAT AWARDS LEWIS PHAROCON, HE CONTRIBUTES TIME AND MONEY TO AN ORGANIZATION THAT IS BEING INVESTIGATED IN NUMEROUS STATES FOR VOTER FRAUD. come on man are you that crazy.
