No, your post asked why Romney lost and Ryan won.. Its because the whole state voted for or against Romney, the whole state DID NOT vote for Ryan, Only in his district...

So to respond to that statement we can break it down ever more for you to understand... THe people in his district benefit by having no unions and by being against the working class... Also he didn't have to buy ads for an entire state, just his district, giving him a MASSIVE advantage.. (thats why incumbants hardly ever lose unless they really screw up)

YOUR THE ONE THAT ASKED IT TO BE EXPLAINED and then when I answer it you further prove your ignorance and argue instead of admitting you are wrong... I answered your question, sorry you didn't like the answer but it is a fact... I wouldn't have even answered it at all if you didn't include me in the post..

So what you saying is that you too believe Ryan cost Romney Wisconsin. So what cost him all the other states he did not win.
I will stay with my opinion that it was the government dependent.

I wonder if we could get this thread moved to the patriotism and politics section of the board?

No what cost Romney the election is that he is a flip flopper and most people know extending tax cuts for the wealthy is BEYOND STUPID, if you want to lower your deficit...

FYI, almost the entire state voted red accept for Milwaukee and Madison.
Also, Janesville is where the union GM plant closed just a couple of years ago, yet THEY are the ones that voted Ryan in again!
And, Ryan wasn't the reason for the reforms with state unions and collective bargaining, it was Gov. Walker. Gov. Walker felt it was fair for the state workers to kick in, however very slightly, as all the other workers do for their insurance and get our state under control. He didn't break any unions either, just making them pay a small share, which is much less than I do.

Since Gov. Walker took office, less than 2 years, our state is in the black thanks to his reforms.
Also, the young teachers that want to actually teach and the quality teachers are still working and many of the worthless ones retired.

Funny how people from other states think they know WI, but in reality, don't know their azz from a hole in the ground when it comes to our state.
Must be the same ones that the liberals bussed in to protest Gov. Walker and sign petitions to get him recalled, yet when the recall happened, Gov. Walker won significantly and the votes for the democratic challenger didn't even amount to half of the protest signatures on the petitions. I guess Daffy Duck and Mickey Mouse really don't exist after all, yet our GAB didn't see anything wrong with this much less people who signed the petitions multiple times and allowed the recall to go forward and waste 100's of thousands of dollars to the WI state taxpayer, not to mention the clean-up of our state capital rotunda from all these liberal idiots defacating and urinating in the corners, just disgusting human (or lack there of) behavior. I remember seeing a car with IL plates and a recall Walker bumper sticker on it, go figure???

With all this said, the presidential election is over and we will all pay dearly for the decision. I hope and pray that we will survive the pending sh*t storm.

Good luck to all who voted for America!

5000 there are no tax cuts being talked about here for anyone, just extending the current rates. So what is being discussed is raising the tax rates on the people who are already paying more. Almost 50% pay no federal income taxes, the top 1% pays 40%, the top 10% pays 70%, the top 25% pays 85% of the annual federal income taxes. You can find that at the IRS website.

Lets say it gets raised what do you think the results of that small of amount of money is really going to be. Obama can tax all he wants to but until he does some serious spending cuts the debt and the deficit will continue to rise. Lets see after these 4 years what the national debt is.

GREAT POST SWAMPMAN!!

Mo Beagler 5000: Perhaps you could also explain gerrymandering. Great post with this addendum. I think Ryan has been exposed and he will just fade away.

The extended rates are a tax cut-- when they run out we have the choice of extending, reducing, or increasing them... Obama wants to extend them for people making less than 250k. let them expire, i.e. raise the efective tax of the ones making more than 250k. He also wants to effectively raise their rates also by closing loopholes like offshore accounts and tax credits for shipping jobs overseas. I have no problem with that... AT ALL.. As long as the money goes to paying the deficit and not to welfare programs.

I also think he needs to slash spending by trillions and every president except clinton has added to the deficit.. Obama has no choice but to increase the deficit if seniors want their retirement. That is whats killing this country... Medicaid and medicare. All the rest is minute and trivial in comparrison.

Extending them just leaves them at the current rate so how is that a tax cut. There is NO tax cut here for anyone. I have no problem with closing the loopholes but I also believe everyone should pay taxes except the elderly, period.

You have nothing to add but you just can't ignore it either. The election is over and the debate begins again. If you don't want to debate it, ignore it. I see crap on here all the time I think is dumb, I just ignore it and move on.
