Why study History

Post by Newt »

Folks my age remember it.

Obama is a replay of the Carter years. And guess who was walking all over Carter? The USSR.

For those too young to remember

quote:
During the 1970s, the usually cautious Soviet Union began to pursue an uncharacteristically aggressive foreign policy. The Soviets sought nuclear superiority at both the strategic and theater levels, in the first case deploying the SS-18 inter-continental ballistic missile and in the second, deploying the SS-20 intermediate range ballistic missile. The Soviets also invaded Afghanistan and pursued an increasingly activist policy in Africa and Central America.

The world sees weakness in Obama. We are being made to look like fools on the world stage. The Russian bear is on the prowl again and America has a narcissistic, spoiled brat in the White House.

If Obama ran again he would win. We have become a welfare country instead of a working one.
This cannot be changed by any new president as those on checks of all kinds will have to die off first and that kind of thinking die with them.
Those that are in high political places got there by winning elections so they will cater to those on welfare of many kinds that VOTE.
What we owe is not the 18 trillion talked about, it is closer to 90 trillion if all we owe is tallied up. The 18 trillion is just matching what China owes. There has never in history been a country that owes as much as we do.
Pity our children and grandchildren. Many are leaving the USA for other countries more stable with a more calm safe place to live, but, that doesn't come on the news.
