Bailing out the auto industry took guts. Who benefited from the bailout? Yep, you got it: Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Virginia and which way did these states go? Right again, democratic.
I consider Toledo part of MI...might as well make a new line in the sand, move the state line, and let it be.

Yes, Cleveland goes with Toledo as a package deal....it is up to you if you want to later give it away for free or maybe trade it for a house dog.

Just don't do away with the Tikki bike bars at Lake Erie....that would start a civil war

Each side can make stats reflect what they like and I get tired of hearing them from both sides.

IMO the real deal is this:

1. Get off your butt and get a job if you don't have one.

2. Federal government, get out of my way so I can provide for myself and my family.......you're suppose to help me not make things harder.

3. Federal government again, before you reach a little deeper into my pocket AGAIN streamline the programs you have now to reduce the amount of money that gets wasted. Redundant programs or just throwing more money at something that's a bad idea to begin with isn't gonna help.

4. Let's help people that truly need help and stop letting others abuse the system......I can only imagine how much money that would save us. I like to refer to people as the "can't's" and the "won't's". If someone truly cannot provide for themselves then I have no problem helping......I have a very giving nature. But nothing pisses me off more than someone that won't try because they're lazy. And don't spout off to me about how "few" of them there are because at least around me I personally see lots of people that live off of the system while I'm out busting my butt everyday to help support them.

Now I'm not gonna cry over some spilled milk.....the man won re-election but I'm not gonna say I'm happy about it either. I am tired of the b.s. and finger pointing. And as for the economy anyone who attributes that to Obama is kidding themselves. It would have done the same thing had someone else been elected.........well except minus the HUGE deficit.

And buck, if you really think this man has the back bone you said he does you are living in a dream world. He's about as hard as a wet noodle..........or did you forget about the few that died along with our ambassador here not too long ago? But what am I thinking, his definition of transparency is comparable to looking through a cement wall.

I really had to think about any Obama fans I knew...found one

Buddy of mine landed a kick butt job right out of highschool....for the last 15+ years I have had to hear about how college was a waste of my money and that he wears short, eats recees cups, and drinks Mt. Dew all night and doesn't do a dang thing other than pull a sample off the line once an hour and chum with the owners at the stripbars after the shift. This cat was making over $80k 4 years ago for doing...well, not much...he is a BIG Obama fan.

Sucks for him but last week he found out his $80k+ job was over and wasn't coming back....they claim he is "over qualified" to do anything else in the place. He and his wife are scrambling making calls trying to find work for him cause their $300k house, new boat, new cars, etc....are all going away if not. Kinda bittersweet that he called me about a job....unfortunately for him he is pretty underqualified to make that kinda loot here. The sad thing is he aint real worried about a job, his wife made him call me...he said he thinks he can go 2yrs on the "check". I wonder who he voted for yesterday....Bet he stuck with Obama....better question is who did his wife vote for.

Thanks bunnyblaster for saving me the trouble of going through the litney of this administrations failings, both of these guys have been on the patriatism forum and when challenged hit the road. I can't believe they are going to talk foriegn policy with the bengazi cover up right in front of our noses, unemployment when the perticipation rate for men is worse then in 1948 when it was first tracked and the lowest its been for the entire US workforce since Carter was president and the number of people on cronic unemployment. Most of what they said is just rhetoric and talking points.

They should just enjoy the fact that they won because if I'm right its going to be a short lived victory.

bucks better beagles wrote:Thanks Hounddog, you are exactly the type of person that would continue to complain and work against any positive steps that the government may take to improve things. It is good to know that Virginia isn't all Obama country. Your state did go democratic, didn't it? Hang in there, keep hating. :D
A little tid bit for ya there Buck. The entire working part of Va, the part I live in, ie farmers, construction workers, you know, the folks that keep most folks alive, fed and a dry bed over their heads voted the other way. Unfortately we have a lot of big cities were people enjoy mooching off of the rest of the state. Take away the freeloaders and it would have been a different story.
Now Buck, as far as standing in the way of Improvements, your wrong. I to, fought for this country and love her with all my heart. With that said, I'm still looking very hard to find any improvements that Obama has done in the last 4 years. How long are you willing to keep a hound that shows no improvements before you send it down the road. $100.00 buck says it won't be 4 years! ;)

Hound-Doggie,
At what point do you look around and say i hate this dog, it hunts when it wants and couldnt circle a rabbit in a hula hoop.
You are like me i dont sell my culls i kill em. Now some folks seem to think things are gonna keep on rolling as biz as usual.Sorry i see the party as over. Bucks speaks well of our leader, short story for all you vets. A good friend of mine and cust lost a arm and leg a few years back. Well they shipped him to walter reed fit him for fake limbs from the second world war and basically sent him home. A decorated Vet my friends. No help from The goverment other than a small monthly check. He got up one day and applied for assistance from the goverment ----- Denied by Ben Chandlers not so much as a call back from his office. Good move Mr Chandler ya idiot. Anyway i gave him a Job not much bout 3000 grand a month, but we do have decent insurance he now has limbs from the 21st century and is not walking like a pirate with crabs. Its amazing how our goverment really dont give a fu@k about war time vets however they make sure the checks are in the mail every month for 3-4 generations of able body folks. How do i know this? Well i live in the heart of it. Some of these folk live better than me and got more than me- Now i aint the sharpest knife in the drawer however even i see a problem with this . Does anyone else? Lets talk Fanny May- How in the hell do you finance a house for a 115% ? When you dont pay for it in 6 months and walk away what have you lost? Nothing. How do i know this i live in the heart of it.We sell cars to slugs oh sorry special finance people scoring 350 credit ratings everyday. New cars. They draw 90 a week with 600 a month payments, do the math. How do i know this i live in the heart of it. I can go on and on i wont cuz to me i am growing a intense supision of my goverment and hatered for the leaders as a church grower thats wrong but i swear to my god i hate and despise Nancy Palosi with every breath she takes. So why you boys tell me how great the idiot is open your eyes and look around. As for me we are fu@ked as good as we can be. Period.Tell me how great he is when your drinking milk through a quill cuz we aint see nothing yet.

The way I see it, here is the bottom line. You boys have 4 more years to prepare yourself to beat Joe Biden or Hillary. Who you going to choose? Better be somebody that can get you by the big city fellers and minority voters. Maybe Jeb Bush or Chris Christie. In the mean time, I am moving on to something more interesting to whine about. :D

Alexis de Tocqueville wrote "Democracy In America" in the 1830's after touring this country. He is often credited with saying "America is great because America is good, but if she ever ceases to be good, she will cease to be great." He never actually said those words, but the conclusions he came to in his book say basically the same. I have always admired his writings. Here are a few of his quotes...

“A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largesse from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's greatest civilizations has been 200 years.”

“The American Republic will endure until the day Congress discovers that it can bribe the public with the public's money.”

“Nothing is more wonderful than the art of being free, but nothing is harder to learn how to use than freedom.”
(Democracy in America)

“Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.”
(Democracy in America)

“Society is endangered not by the great profligacy of a few, but by the laxity of morals amongst all.”
(Democracy in America)

Tocqueville was just a man, but he was obviously a very intelligent man.

Steve, that guy had brains AND common sense. You can't argue with liberals using either one, it's like speaking Klingon at a biker ralley. Common sense is like kryptonite to Buck and MObeagle o.5.
