Re: gov. setting wages
I agree, the Gov. has set themselves apart from the people and feathered their nest pretty well.
The limits on bonuses is a cap on reward while using taxpayer monies ie...no reward for bad behavior. They did not practice what they preached, every adviser preaches diversification and limited risk, they over leveraged the risk and did not hedge against the percentage for failure, it was like a casino, they were betting the whole house on one roll time and time again and it finally fell through. The anti-trust laws kept them from setting themselves up as the "untouchables" before, now without the anti-trust law, they've allowed the exorbitant risk because they made great returns as long as the game went their way(made everyone happy) but upon failure, the Co. and stockholders went under while the Corp. Heads floated off under their golden umbrellas.
One time I got my pants dirty before church, I had to sit out on the porch in my underwear while mom washed my pants and dried them. The Executives are getting their pants wash now, you just hope no one drives by while your setting on the porch...
