I know it gets asked all the time but what are the eligible birthdates for a Derby dog for this trial. I have a female that's about 9 months old now that I would like to run then but not sure if she is old enough.

Definition of a Beagle Derby (SPO)
A Beagle is a Derby throughout the calendar year,
January 1 through December 31, if it was whelped not
later than June 30 of the previous year and not earlier
than July 1 of the year before that, except that at trials
held in Large Packs on hare a Beagle shall be a Derby
if it has not reached its second birthday on the first day
of the trial

2013 derby is born after or on July 1st,2011 and before or on June 30,2012

I always have a good time anytime I go to Southern WV Club. Good folks, good grounds, good food...worth the trip. Wish I had a derby.

Where exactly are yall located in wv n just curious what format do yall use?

Our club is an AKc Midwest we are located in Pliny WV (gps address Beegle Club Road Fraziers Bottom WV and yes it is spelled Beegle not typoerror)

June 2nd 2011 would have been a 2012 derby even though he is not 2 at time of this trial?

This is not held in large pack format, correct?
