CGS KENNEL PUPPY HUNT 10-13-12

Hey guys it is time again for the CGS Kennel to plan for the fall baby stakes pup hunt which is scheduled of 10/13/2012. The hunt will be the same as the previous hunts as to the pay outs and judging rules. The cut off for the pups to be able to hunt in the hunt will be 9/1/2011 which will make the pups 13 1/2 months of age for the oldest pups to be run in the hunt. For those that have not been to the hunt before there is no charge to come and watch it is even encouraged. The entry fee will be $20 per pup entered in the hunt. We will run males with males and females with females. We get the question all the time what if my female is in heat bring her anyway if you wnat to run her in the hunt. The last hunt we had 30 total puppies entered and had a great day of running pups in the near 50 acre running pen. The owner must show proof of puppies age at time of sign in. The hunt is scheduled to start a 6:00 am centeral time on the 13th.

Rules will be off of little pack with the only change being no jumps will be awarded only stike and check points. All other rules will apply.

Payout
Will be 60% to the winner of each class males and females
10% will go the dame and stud owner of the puppies that win each class
10% will go to the judges
10% will go for use of the pen for the day.

Hey guys just wondering what the pups are out that are coming to the hunt in case others want to come and watch. Tell what you got coming. I know there will be pups out of HOF Branko's Johnboy, HOF Bumper to Bumper, LPRC Bluff Springs Blackjack which won the Missouri State i think a year ago maybe 2 years ago not sure. It will be a good chance to let others see what your dog is throwing in thier puppies.

I am at work right now but later tonight I will try and get out all the results as well as some of pics if I can. But thanks to all that helped make this hunt a sucessful event. We will continue to have hunts as long as people what to attend them. Great day and was proud to see the number of kids getting involved with the puppies. The finals of the females which was by the way pounded running all day were handled by kids and posed by there handlers for the pics so I really hope I can get them on here later tonight. Also will have a list of the money won not too bad either!
