We have had lots of calls, it seems like we are going to have a good crowd of people. We have hunters from Oh,GA,NC,SC,TN,AR and KY. If you are planing on comming make sure you call and get your #'s. If you have ever wanted to try a BIG PACK hunt this is a good cause. It will be good fun and fellowship.
Most of the time a fast dogs will do well. but a dog that will hunt hard and be flashy will do good as well. dont think your dogs are not fast enough you could be worong. I have seen slower style dogs do well at times. They are scored on hunting, trailling and seed and drive, so all style dogs can do well.
Hope to see you there.

Guys I am really excited about this hunt. The proceeds go to an awesome charity, and this is a true open registration hunt. All beagles under 16 inches can be entered and there will be no fees to have the hound registered, all you pay are your entry fees. If you have ever wanted to try trialling, this is your trial. There have been alot of new formats of trials, with new methods of judging dogs popping up, but the big pack format, uses the most time tested judging and scoring method that there has ever been. This will be an awesome hunt, with alot of fun, fellowship, and really good dogs. I look forward to seeing you all there. Johnny

The hunt starts tomorrow, still not too late to get numbers and come. Looks like it is going to be a big turnout, and if you have any last minute donations please contact Brandon Lee and let him know.

St jude's hunt was a big success between the hunt, raffle, auction and other donations we raised $7066. Alot more than we ever expected a big thank you to everyone who contributed to a great cause. The running was tough the 1st day. it seemed they could not find rabbits. But the 2nd day the dogs run good all day and lots of rabbits. but that is hunting. and thanks again to all that helped.

I would like to thank Brandon Lee and Brian McLeod and the Barrineau Beagle club for all the hard work they did on this hunt. This was a Class hunt for a great cause, this hunt was not about winning and losing it was to help all the kids that loose every day. God Bless you all.
Thanks for letting me be a small part of it!
